Chapter 14

HARRY'S POV

After autographs are done the boys and I crash on the couches.

"Great show lads!" Liam says once we are all comfortable.

"Ya except for when I almost got hit in the face by a bra!" Zayn laughs.

"Ya good dodge man," I laugh with him.

"I'm just going to call Alec and check on Lily's status," I say as I get off the couch and move to the hall way where it's more quiet.

I pull out my phone from my back pocket and unlock it. My screen saver is of my mum and Gemma. I miss them, I think to myself, and leave a mental note to call them sometime this week. I open my contacts a click on Alec's number. The phone rings 4 times before he picks up.

"How's Lily??" I question him without even saying hi.

"Ummmm I honestly don't know..." He says slowly.

"What do you mean??" My hands start to tremble.

"I meant to call you but-" I cut him off.

"Tell , me Alec!" I try to not yell at him as I feel droplets of sweat collecting on my forehead like they would on a cold glass in the summer.

"Well the first two hours after you left were fine. Things seemed normal and there was nothing different about her 'state'. But then I was sitting next to her as usual and all of a sudden her eyes fluttered open. I swear I thought I was dreaming when she looked over at me. I got excited and called for a doctor as I squeezed her hand. But just as soon as her eyes were opened, they were closed again."

I hear Alec's voice sadden compared to the hope and longing I heard in his voice when he talked about her opening her eyes.

"So.. So she's awake?" I ask him carefully.

"You didn't let me finish. After her eyes closed the heart monitor started beeping out of control. I didn't really know what that meant but I knew it wasn't good. The doctors rushed in a second later with a team of nurses. I quickly told them what had happened and was pushed out of the room soon after. Before the door closed I saw them start to give her CPR."

I can hear the shaking of Alec's voice. I slip down the wall I was leaning on for support and sit on the floor.

"They've been in there for fifteen minutes now and my mom just got here. We have no idea what's going on. I'm sorry I didn't call-"

"No don't apologize I know everything is happening so fast." I interrupt him when he try's to apologize for not calling me sooner.

"You might want to come down here... But you don't have to rush we might not hear anything for a while." Alec informs me.

I take a deep breath, "Okay I'll be down in a little bit." I tell him and hang up.

I just sit here in the hallway not moving. I honestly don't know what to think. I only knew Lily for like three hours before all this happened. I still feel so scared though.

Niall comes in the hallway and finds me in the floor.

"Hazza what's wrong?" He says squatting down next to me.

"Lily woke up but when she did there were....complications." I try to explain, the information still new in my mind.

"Oh man.." Niall says. He sits down next to me leaning on the wall, and runs his fingers through his hair.

O

"Well what are we gonna do now?" He looks at me.

"I honestly have no idea."

15 minutes later

"Wow.." Liam says once I'm done telling the boys what happened.

"Ok well I'll go with Harry to the hospital and you lads can go to the Hotel." Louis stands up and straightens his shirt.

"Cool see you guys later. Call us if anything happens." Zayn says as he and the boys head to the van.

"Alright mate let's go," Louis says handing me my phone.

Paul sneaks us out the back of the building into a cab so we aren't mobbed by fans. The cab drops us off at the side door and we slip in the hospital. I give a little wave to the nurse at the reception desk. She recognizes me from the past days and nods for us to go up stairs as she continues to talk on the phone.

Louis and I get the elevator to ourselves. As we slowly move up a play with my hands the silence a little awkward.

"It's going to be fine you'll see," Louis tries to reassure me but I don't know if he even believes what he's saying.

We get out of the elevator and walk down the hallway to Lily's room which is all the way at the end of the hall. The walk that must only be 300 feet seems likes miles since I'm so anxious to get there.

When we reach the door I approach Alec and his prick of a mother. I try to be nice because even if she is a bitch this still must be hard for her since Lily is her only daughter after all.

"Hey any news?" I ask Alec when he turns to see Louis and I.

"Yes. The doctor came out about five minutes ago saying she's stable. We were waiting for you to arrive so we could all go in together." Alec explains.

I nod and make the first move to open the door. I step inside the room, the others following behind, and see Lily hooked up to a thousand different tubes but at least her eyes are open. She looks up from her lap with tired expression but a small smile comes to her lips when she make eye contact with me.

"Hi," she says her smile widening.

"Hi," I say back a grin spreading across my face.

Hey guys! OMG it's been way too long! I'm so sorry I never update I really don't like this imagine but some friends of mine kept pushing me and I finally made it out of my writers block!!! I'm going to try to update for you all more this summer because I'm starting to get into this fanfic again. I'm not sure how long it's going to be but we will see how it goes!!!
