You walk into the arena where you would be playing in a few nights to see Tyler singing on the stage.
"Cause somebody stole my car radio and now I just sit in silence," he finished.
You clapped and said,"Yet another flawless perform by the amazing Tyler Joseph."
"(Y/N)?" Tyler asked hoping of the stage and barreling towards you for a hug.
"The one and only," I laughed.
"It's been way to long. I heard about your album but why are you here?"
"We," I said gesturing to Alec and Jackie, "Are your opening act."
"No way!"
"Yup be ready to get sick of me," I joked.
"Yeah right. Well I guess you should meet my band mate Josh. Josh this (Y/N), Alec, and Jackie from Sleep of the Unforgiven."
Josh gave a little wave with his drum sticks and a hi.
"Yo, Josh this girl can drum. Like hardcore man"
"I'm not sure about hardcore but I think I'm pretty good," I reply whipping out my (f/c) drum sticks.
"Oh really? I sense a challenge," he said quirking and eyebrow at me
"You're on."
He got up from the seat and said,"Ladies first."
I chose a classic song I knew by heart, Carry on Wayward Son by Kansas. I started banging on the drums. I felt free, alive. Too soon the song was over. My hair line was dripping sweat and I was breathing heavily.
"Whoo. That feeling never gets old." I called it my drum high. That feeling that your flying. It's indescribable but when something makes you feel like that you crave it. Which is why I call it my drum high.
Josh let out a low whistle, "Dude you were right. You can drum." He looked me over with his brown eyes. I could feel heat rising to my cheeks.
I glanced over at Jackie but she just smiled and winked.
"Your turn Josh," I turned to him then walked to stand next to Alec and and Jackie.
Alec nudges me and I elbow him in response. He just smirks. Josh starts playing Car Radio banging around on the drums. I'm not gonna lie he was pretty hot when he was drumming.
Soon the song was over. All of us clapped for Josh and mocked a bow.
"Thank you. Thank you. Hold the applause please."
I rolled my eyes as Tyler said, "Let's go get pizza! I'm starving."
