Chapter 7 Dealing With Debby

As soon as we stepped foot in the arena Tyler came running towards us.

"Debby's here. She's looking for you," she said to Josh.

"Yeah I know she called me before the show."

"And your just now telling me?" Tyler sounded a tad bit hurt.

"I'm sorry I was going, Y/N asked me first."

"Oh I see. I've been replaced." Tyler says mockingly.

"What's going on?" Alec and Jackie walk up.

"Josh's ex is here and wants to get back together," I explained to them.

"Is that who that was?" Alec asked.

Josh nodded, "Well I should go talk to her."

I saw him gulp nervously, "Um Y/N can you come with? Ya know cause you're a girl. So just in case I need you to jump in?"

"Yeah, of course."

"Well we'll be in my dressing room when guys get finished," Tyler spoke leading my band member away.

Josh took a breath A headed towards the stage where she was arguing with a body guard.

"She's fine," Josh said sounding slightly bored to the body guard.

"Hey Joshie," Debby said twirling her finger in her hair.

"Don't call me that," he said in a monotone voice.

"Aw come on Joshie," she said ignoring what he said moving closer to him, "I want you back does that not mean anything to you?"

"Actually no. It doesn't mean anything to me," I could tell he was getting mad. I didn't know him well but being mad plus dealing with and ex didn't ever work well. I've dragged Jackie from fights multiple times before.

"You left me. You left me. You didn't want me then. What changed? My guess is nothing. Nothing at all besides the fact you're desperate," he spat in her face.

"Ok Josh calm down," I said.

"Who is she?" Debby wrinkled her nose almost in disgust.

"Y/N and she's my girlfriend," he wrapped an arm around my shoulder. My heart was thumping. This was just to make her back off right? Oh god.

Debby looked as shocked as I did, "Oh well, why didn't you say something before?"

"Goodbye Debby," he spun us around and was we were out of sight he dropped his arm. I was half relieved half disappointed .

"Um-I'm sorry about that. It was kinda the first thing that came to my mind."

"Uh, yeah it's fine don't worry about it."

He smiled and we headed for Tyler's dressing room.
