I looked around, looking for Thomas. "Who is that?" Zackary asked.

"That's my brother's friend Thomas." I was still angry at Thomas for lying to me so I refused to call him my friend at that moment.

"Who is your brother?"

"Morgana, where are you?" Thomas called out again, his voice getting closer.

"My brother is Will Ravencroft."

"Morgana!" Thomas's voice kept getting closer.

"I really need to be going home now," I said quickly. I turned and started to quickly walk away but Zackary grabbed my hand gently, stopping me. I looked back at him and I finally noticed his aura. It was a dark green, something that I'd never seen before.

He's so different than Thomas, I couldn't help but think. Their auras are completely different and their personalities are polar opposites as well.

"Will I see you again?" he asked, hope creeping into his voice again.

"I'm not sure, Zackary." I said honestly. Part of me planned on hiding in the cottage for a few days so that I could avoid Thomas completely.

"Well, I hope that I do."

I heard Thomas call my name again and I found myself starting to become anxious to leave. Zackary released my hand, as if he could sense my anxiety and it had burned him.

"Mo," I heard Aiden say behind me, "There you are." Relief flooded his voice.

I quickly turned to look at him. "Does Thomas know where I am?"

He shook his head. "No, but he is looking for you."

"Please don't tell him. I don't want to talk to him right now."

Aiden sighed quietly. "Mo, he's worried. Just let him know that you're okay."

"No, I don't want to talk to him right now. He lied to me, Aiden!"

"He wasn't intentionally trying to hurt you."

"What did this Thomas kid do?" Zackary questioned. Aiden's gaze shifted over to him and his eyes narrowed.

"Who are you?"

Zackary's eyes narrowed slightly as well. "Why do you want to know?" he asked cautiously.

Aiden moved forward a couple of steps forward, as if he was trying to place himself between me and Zackary. "I want to know because I don't trust a complete stranger with my little sister."

"I'm Zackary Rabinowitz. Who are you?"

Aiden's eyes managed to narrow a even more as his back straightened and his lips pursed for a moment. "I'm Aiden Ravencroft. Now that we're on first-name basis, I'll be taking my sister home now."

"Why don't you let her decide if she wants to go home?" Zackary argued.

"Zackary, it's alright." I said. "I need to get home. My parents must be worried about me."

He nodded but didn't say anything. I turned and started towards Mother and Father's cottage, Aiden close behind me.

"That was stupid of you, Morgana." Aiden said quietly.

"What was?"

"You know what I'm talking about. You ran off into the woods, totally alone, and talked to a complete stranger. He could have murdered you for all we know."

"That seems very pessimistic." I said quietly.

"It's the truth."

"But he didn't hurt me. He seemed nice."
