Through the hole day I thought about the stallion. When I was turned out to my little pasture I looked for him but didn't see anything. Late that afternoon I saw something trotting up to my pasture. It was the stallion I saw this morning! He walked up to me and introduced himself.
"Hi. My name is Aspen." He said.
"Hi I'm Mist. Nice to meat you." I said shyly.
"I noticed you this morning when me and my buddies were chasing Linco and his band." He said. "I thought I would come and say hi."
"That's very nice of you." I said. "I need someone else besides Bird to talk to."
"Bird? Who is that?" He asked puzzled.
"He is my friend. The most annoying gelding you will ever meet." I replied.
"Oh ok." He replied.
"You need to get going." I said. "It's getting dark and my owner is coming."
"K. Can I talk to you tomorrow or something?"
He asked.
"Ya you can come back." I replied. " I'll be in the back pasture in the woods."
"Ok I'll see you tomorrow then!"
He said then galloped off.
I dreamed of Aspen that night. Just me and him galloping across the meadows and fields.
That morning I woke up and was anxious to go to the pasture. I couldn't wait to see Aspen.
While I waited for him I thought how I would tell Bird about him. Should I just come right out and say it or what? I stopped thinking about this when I heard hooves running through the woods.
