"So I guess he heard and saw everything." Aspen said.
"Yeah I guess so. But we need to get out of here now." I said looking at Bird gallop to the barn.
"Well let's get a move on!" Aspen said nuzzling me. With that we started to gallop through the forest till we were certain we could not be seen.
"Where do we go now?" I asked.
"Follow me I know where to go." He said in an assuring voice.
"Lead on!" I said laughing. He laughed and we started our journey. Aspen never said where we were going but I trusted him. We stopped at a creek and bedded down for the night. I liked being out here with Aspen. It was calm and quiet. I laid down and looked up at the strong stallion that was watching over me. I thought back to when I first saw him and remembered how I fell in love with him at first sight.
"I wonder what he is thinking." I said to myself.
Aspen's POV
I look around as Mist gets comfortable. I probably won't sleep tonight since I don't know what is around here. I can't let anything happen to Mist. I love her and won't let anything happen to her.
Mist's POV
I look around me before I fall asleep. I know Aspen probably won't sleep tonight. I see it in his eyes, he is not letting anything happen to me.
