Sophia's Birthday part 1

Let's just say the day didn't go as planned. Sophia asked Mother of she could wear her gown and her exact word was.
"Wait until Roman gets married."
What! What did you just say?
To say the least I was not happy at my Mother. Then Sophia made the greatest mistake in her existence. She went and asked Father the same exact question! The question of all questions.
"Father can I wear a gown for my birthday?" He just looked at her as if she was a little born child. My Father had always loved Sophia like he was his everything.
"What did your Mother say?" He now had a frown on his face. Let's say my sister is the worst liar known to have exist. Her face went bright white.
"I haven't asked her yet." That was her simple answer. It's not like her hopes and dreams were built on this question! When will she ever learn? I would love to know it would save me a whole lot of time .
"Well, go ask her." She knew he had to get Father to say yes if he didn't then she couldn't wear the gown.
"Well, I can't." She lowered her voice and tried not to be caught.
"Why not?" By this point in the conversation he knew something was off. He could tell that she needed him to say yes.
"Well she, I mean she is very busy in the war room and. You know Roman and I are not allowed in there. Besides I thought you could tell me yes and no because you run everything." My jaw dropped. My sister Sophia had just perfected the art of lying. She could now get anything she wanted. Every person, object, or living thing. Basically we are all screwed.
"Nice try sweetie but you know that you can't go to your Mother then to me. It is disrespectful." How did he know? Oh yeah. They can talk to each other threw there minds. How could I forget that mates can do that.
"But Father!" She stopped her little foot on the floor and started to cry. Just one little drop of water rolling down her cheek.
"Sophia! That is no way to behave! Go to your pod your Mother and I will talk about this. We will come and get you when it's the next time to feed."
"Ugh! I wish someone would just listen to me!" She spun around and stormed out of the room. I was left there just me and my Father not knowing what do to or say.
"Roman what should I do?" I never thought he would ever ask me for advice. Ever.
