"Hey, Diana. Try wait!" I hear as I'm about to walk through the door. I turn around and see, TRISTAN? Is he OK? Is there something wrong? He never talks to me without being a dick. Idek why, but I waited for him...
"Yes?" I ask as soon as he catches up.
"Hi" really? Is that all he is gonna say to me?
"Uh, hi?" I respond with a really weird look on my face.
"Don't get too excited now." He says sarcastically.
"Oh haha sorry. Can I help you with something?"
"Yah... Umm... Are you heading home now?"
"No, I was gonna stop at Starbucks and do my homework there for a little while." I instantly saw Tristan's face drop when I said that. So I quickly added "why?"
"Oh I was just hoping to walk with you home." Ok, wait, what?! Tristan, the horrible, good at harassing, dickface, son of a motherfucker, wants to walk home with me?
"Umm... Why?" I ask dumbfounded.
"Wow D, I see how it is..." Wait, D? No one calls me that... Not even Kailey...
"D?" I ask questioned.
"Yeah, a nickname I just came up with." He responds like it's not a big deal.
"Nickname?" Is all I can manage out of my mouth.
"I don't care if you don't like that, I'm gonna call you that." He responds smugly.
"Wow." I say in an amused voice but I'm not actually amused with it.
"What? You like it?" He says smiling
"D? Really? I would've thought you could come up with something better." I respond smirking at him.
"Ugh. Whatever." He says all sour.
"You're welcome to join me at Starbucks if you want" Diana wtf are you doing? You don't like him remember?? Right? Or maybe I do like him? No remember all the bad shit he did to you.
I instantly see his face light up. "Sure. Thanks" he responds with a big smile.
Wow, he looked beautiful. His perfectly straight teeth and his little dimples showed, his hazel green eyes looked so amazing and bright. God, I wish I had dimples.
