Chapter 10: Maybe

Kashi:What took you so long?
Kashi's Team:Bout time.*Sits cross legged and starts eating popcorn*

Kashi's  POV

"Yay... Saturday.."I groaned,then rolled back over,trying to pat down the huge mess of hair.Then Danny flew in and shook me back awake."Whhhyyy?"I groaned after I was sitting up."Wanna come over?"He asked,his green eyes bright with hope."Mmm..Maybe.Give me time to wake up."I said laying back down.Danny literally floated over me while I was waking up."Okay geez...Now get out so I can get dressed!"I said laughing as I shoved him through the wall."Okay okay I'm going."He laughed.

Danny's POV

I landed in my bed and changed back,laying on my stomach as I picked up a comic book and started reading."Hi!"A cheery voice chimed from my right.I yelped and fell off the bed,then sighed.Kashi peered over the edge of the bed and smiled down at me."Jumpy much?"She asked.I sat up and looked at her.Of course she was wearing all black.Black T-shirt,jeans and boots to be specific."I wouldn't be jumpy if you announced when you arrived instead of scaring me off my own bed."I stated standing."Sorry,"Kashi said gasping."Can we go to Nasty Burger?!"She asked grabbing my arm."Sure.Just...I gotta let mom know we're going.Wait how are we going to explain why you're in my room?"I asked looking down at her.It was silent for about...Ten minutes as Kashi looked at the floor in wonder."I'll come through the door.Simple."Kashi said transforming,then flying down to my front door.I shrugged and went downstairs,seeing Jazz glaring at me."What?"I asked sitting across from her as I heard Kashi's knock."Who's that?"Jazz asked calming down.I jumped up and flung the door open,seeing Kashi smiling brightly as she rubbed the back of her neck."In a rush aren't you?"She asked,not rubbing her neck anymore."Well we did just make plans a couple minutes ago.Alright...To Nasty Burger!"I said closing the door.We decided to walk instead of flying,which I'm okay with but I like flying around.Oh I guess I'll start keeping track of the days before February.Today's January the 13th...Woo hoo.."Whatchu thinking about?"Kashi asked breaking my thoughts."Mating season actually...It starts on the first right?"I asked looking over at her."Yeah...Being a demon sucks."Kashi said sitting down across from me."But there's the non-sucky parts about being a demon."I said cheerfully."Yeah...But I can't be around my boyfriend for a whole month!"She said putting her head down on the table."Well you can't be around any guys can you?"I asked leaning down so I could see her eyes."No..."She replied looking up at me."Then it's okay!"I said smiling as I sat back."Yeah...But instincts are hard to control..."Kashi said sitting up."Instincts?"I asked looking at her."Yeah.When demons are in their mating season their instincts become harder to control.But,if the opposite gender stays away for a month,then our instincts go back to normal."Toka explained.I nodded once and finally noticed all the people ordering."Woah..."We said in unison and got up to leave.But sadly,Dash was arriving."Dear Lord not now..."Kashi said looking up at him as she put her hands behind her back."What are you dorks doing here?Nasty Burger is where the cool kids hang out."He said picking us up by our shirts.I sighed,putting my hands in my pockets as I looked over at Kashi.She smiled and rose her fist,which was covered in real fire.Dash's eyes widened and he dropped us,backing up frantically."But won't he just tell people?"I asked."Number one,no one's gonna believe him.And number two..."Kashi said before reaching over to his neck,and pinching.Dash fell asleep in an instant,lying on a table."Woah...What the heck did you do?"I asked as we walked out,leaving everybody confused."Pinched a nerve.I learned it from Phoenix actually."She said smiling as she looked around,then transformed."Another fan hunt?"I asked as she grabbed my arm.She nodded as my parents peered around the corner,aiming something at Kashi."Why do you like these things?You were tackled last time."I stated as she began floating around,still holding me."Yes but that wasn't a fan hunt.Wait are they still our fans?Cause they hate us?"Kashi asked as she began flying around the city."My fangirls hate you and your fanboys hate me...Yeah I think fanhunts are a death wish."I said as she tossed me up so I could transform."Well demons can't die so I'm good.I'll protect you Danny."Toka said patting my head,running her thumb over the spikes.I sighed and chased after her when she flew away.

Kashi's POV

I found Barbie Doll as I was looking for our fans.Then I got a crazy idea."Danny watch this!"I called back to him,then possessed Barbie Doll."Isn't this cool?!"I asked in her voice."Why would you possess Paulina?"Danny asked landing next to me."Because it's fun.Did'nt you possess your own dad?"I asked putting my hands on my/her hips."Yes but that was for the whole 'pants falling down' situation."Danny said looking at something behind me."But I can't possess Barbie Doll for fun?"I asked glancing behind me and seeing bushes."Well can you get out of her?She's probably trying to relax or something."Danny said."Ugh fine..."I said then floated out of her.She fell back into the bushes,making a path so that we could see Danny's parents."Crap...I completely forgot about the whole 'ghost hunter' thing."I said floating upwards."You'll get used to it.Lets go visit Sam and Tucker."Danny said,then flew away."Woah wait up!"I said,and flew after him.I really hope I don't have to deal with anymore ghost hunters other than Danny's parents.

(Danny:You would've set him on fire if she didn't have you pinch a nerve would you?*Looks over at Kashi.
Kashi:No...I would've trapped him in ice.*Shrugs*
Kashi's Team:How is that any better?!*Throws empty popcorn bowls across the room.
