Kashi's POV
We watched as the whole school gathered behind us and as the cloud turned red and green,two boxes made of stone dropping from it and landing in front of us.
"Um..."Danny looked at me in concern as he raised an eyebrow."Probaly from the guild.Natsu and Gray are always fighting,so maybe that opened a vortex or something..."I said as I crouched down in front of the box with my initials on it.
Danny opened his box and his eyes lit up with happiness.A blue orb floated out and made contact with Danny,freezing him."I got it.."Braxton escorted everyone back inside to their classes.I lit my fist in real fire,then started to melt him out.
"So...I have ice magic...?"Danny asked in confusion as I blew out my fist."Yup...Wonder what mine is."I walked back over to my box and opened it,seeing a Bo staff with black bandages around it."Alright!Black Fire staff!"I said twirling it above my head.
"Congratulations.Now we should probably get back to class..."Danny said as he slowly started walking back."Oh right!"I said getting up and following him.And since the staff was retractable,I shrunk it down and shoved it in my pocket.
Time Skip,Danny's POV
"Ah lightning rods.."Kashi sighed as she let her head fall to the table."What's wrong?"Me,Braxton,Adashi,Sam and Tucker asked in unison."Tomorrow's the start of mating season for me and Adashi."Kashi whined and Adashi almost choked."It's already been that long?!"He asked Kashi.She nodded and stuck out her lip,pouting."Wait you two aren't even legal."I realized as I looked between the two."Because Mikuru wasn't around to help control when we develop mating season,it happened when our bodies and brains finally accepted that she was gone."Adashi said,then I accidentally froze the table,freezing Kashi's arm and cheek.She had shifted positions while Adashi was explaining.
"Sorry Toka..."I sighed and Adashi melted her arm out with the fire on his pointer finger,so tiny that no one else could see it but us.
