I had finally settled Jon on the bed, surrounding him in a mountain of pillows despite his protests that I was "overdoing it".
He had me pull out his camera, wanting to make a video for his fans explaining what had happened.
Additionally, we were officially going to come out as a couple to them."Hello my pretty chickens!" Jon started, and I giggled softly at his intro. He stuck out his tongue at me, and I returned the gesture from where I was currently sitting, out of the camera frame.
"If you haven't figured it out already, I am not at home. As many of you may know, I was recently in a horrible plane crash." He paused for a moment, swallowing. "I was th-the only survivor." He sniffed, wiping his eyes, and I sent him a reassuring look, mouthing "you don't have to do this". He shook his head in reply, and continued.
"Umm, I am okay though. I was in a coma for a couple weeks, and my left leg is completely shattered, along with a few broken ribs, but I'm alright otherwise." He paused again, smiling faintly at me. "And a lot of that is thanks to Thomas."
I took that as my cue to crawl next to him, wrapping an arm around his middle. Jon leaned heavily against me, his head resting on my shoulder, and I smiled down at him, before turning to wave at the camera."Hi guys!" I greeted, before falling silent so Jon could continue.
He cleared his throat, picking up his head. "Umm..." He laughed, and I did too, neither of us knowing quite how to say this. "Uh, well, none of you guys know this. Umm, for the past year or so, me and Thomas have been, uh... Dating." He grinned at the word, looking up to me with bright eyes. Not able to help myself, I have him a quick peck, keeping it short and sweet for the good of whoever would watch this.
"And uh, yeah, that's it. Thanks for being so supportive guys, and I'll be sure to update you on anything new that happens. If you want to shoot me a question or something, I'll leave the links to my social media below." He made a pointing motion, and I laughed again. He turned to me, before gesturing towards my face.
"I'll also leave some links if you want to check out this beautiful cinnamon roll of a human being."
I snorted, covering my mouth with one hand. "Cinnamon roll?"
Jon glared playfully at me."Go along with it."
We messed around for a few more minutes, before I turned off the camera and Jon plugged it into his laptop, uploading it without much editing. He sighed, resting his head in my shoulder.
"We did it."
