The One Thing

2 years later:

"Congratulations Blackbourne team. You've finished your training and repaid your 20 favor debt. You are now free to do whatever missions you want to do," the Academy Elder said.

Sang looked at her family surrounding her and felt pure joy. These 9 boys were her new family, and unlike her old one, was always there for her.

She grew to love each and every one of them as a family during these past two years. They found out they were all broken in their own way and all bonded because of it. Her once broken heart was repaired by these 9 boys who all became pieces of it.

Being in their family was a difficult task. Since she was a ghost bird, the Academy had other plans for her, but after constant persuasion, she was finally where she was supposed to be. They had a loving family. They, like every family does, fight often. But, they're so strongly connected that nothing could break them apart....

Besides one thing. And Sang was the person who held the key to destroying them all.

Because, she was falling in love with every one of them.

"How do I look?" I ask the boys as I twirl in my light pink summer dress.

"You look amazing Aggele Mou," Silas said, looking at me head to toe.

I blushed.

I looked at the other boys and saw all of them looking speechless at my body. Do they not like it? Oh no. Maybe I should go change.

I start to turn around when I'm disrupted by Gabe.

"Trouble, don't fucking move. The boys are just in awe at how beautiful you look right now. Just wait a few seconds for them to wake up from their daze," he says from behind me.

"Oh really," I say, deciding to take them out of their daze immediately.

"Baw Bawk!" I say while moving my arms like a chicken's.

They all bring their heads back at once and look at me with widened eyes. Well, I guess it worked.

"Oh my fucking god Trouble! That was the funniest thing I've ever seen," Gabe says and then starts to burst out laughing.

I immediately join him and soon everyone joins.

After our little outburst, all the boys start complimenting me in my dress.

This obviously causes my face to turn into a human tomato. Even though I'm not as innocent or shy as I was two years ago, I still had a knack for always blushing.

I'm about to thank them all when North and Silas's phones go off. They both look at it and swear.

"Okay Sang Baby, we have to go cover the Toma team with a roof problem. Apparently, they have a bird who's been causing them trouble and they don't have time to do it," North says walking up to me, pulling me into him, and kissing my forehead.

This causes me to get tingles in my stomach. Oh, my big grumpy teddy bear.

After him is Silas pulling me into a huge bear hug. I love Silas's hugs.

"We'll see you late Aggele Mou," he says in my ear and kisses my cheek.

Oh god. The tingles are intensified.

Am I crazy? Why do I have feelings for more than one guy? I look around the room and see all the boys in my life who I've fallen in love with romantically.

I shiver at the thought of my step-mother. At the time I didn't know what she meant, but after looking into my past I found out my real mother died giving birth to me.
