Newt had led me to a clearing in the trees. The crisp, morning sunlight filled the air and brightened the area up.
On the side of this beautiful area was a shining stream with crystal clear water running smoothly through the grass.
(I know there isn't any streams in the glade, but just pretend)
In the middle of the clearing there was a classic red and white check blanket with a woven basket on it. I ran up to Newt and hugged him.
"Newt..." I mumbled into his soft shirt. He chuckled softly. "Y/n, I wanted to give you a nice surprise. For being my girlfriend. I love you."
I pulled away and looked into his amazing brown eyes. "Newt, you didn't have too... But I love it. And I love you." I kissed him on the cheek and dragged his arm over towards the basked. "Now time for food!" I shouted.
He grinned and followed me over to the picnic. I eagerly opened the basket to find lots of F/m and F/d. There was also some F/de!
~~Time skip to after you've eaten~~
I lay my head in newts chest. "That was amazing, Newtie. Thank you." I mumbled. He looked down at me before replying. "Don't mention it, N/n. Anything for you."
