Annabell's P.O.V. *****************
After my shower I looked at the time saw it was 3:15, and figured the day was pretty much wasted. After I brushed out my hair and I wrapped myself in a towel, I walked into my room, and started to get dressed. I slipped into some sweatpants and a sports bra. As I tried to figure out a shirt to wear, there was a knock at the door. I grabbed a sweatshirt, and looked through the peephole. Standing on the other side of the door was Diana. I opened the door, and Diana looked at me sheepishly.
"Hey Diana, how's your head?" I leaned against my doorway and crossed my arms in front of my chest. She rubbed the back of her neck and smiled sheepishly again.
"I have a pretty sizable headache, but I came over here for a reason. I first want to tell you how sorry I am for just sort of ditching you at the party, that was such an awful thing of me to do, can you forgive me?"
I smiled at her. "Yeah, I forgive you, although I was never mad," Diana sighed in relief, and smiled brightly at me. "Do you want to come in, Diana?"
"I was hoping you would invite me in! I could use your help."
I walked back into my apartment and looked behind me to make sure Diana was following.
"So what do you need my help with? I'm not all that good with social situations if you haven't been able to tell."
"Well, at the party, I may or may not have slept with Joe Sugg." I turned around to look at her.
"Um, congrats, but why are you talking to me about this? And I don't mean to sound rude, but we barely know each other." I started to fiddle with my hair. I hadn't really made friends in a long time, so I really had no idea how this all worked.
"Well yeah, but I figured that gossiping about our lives would be a good way to become best friends." Diana looked at me with confusion and a little sadness. I smiled at her to try and reassure her.
"Okay, continue on with your story then, and make yourself comfortable."
I sat quickly on one of my couches and curled up in a blanket. She sat across from me and crossed her legs underneath herself.
"Well I don't really remember much from last night after my third drink, but according to several semi-reliable sources, me, Joe Sugg, and one of the guys you met, if you remember, said we slept together. And today, once I had woken up, my phone was blowing up, but the biggest thing is that Joe has officially asked me out on a date. He's coming over later today, and I was wondering if you would help me get ready."
I grinned at her. "Of course I'll help. How do you want me to help you get ready?" I changed my legs to sit crossed-legged. She shifted to face me more and imitates my way of sitting.
"Well, I was hoping you could play judge to my wardrobe and possibly help with makeup and/or hair." She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and looked at me.
"Yeah, I can definitely do that. What are you doing for your date?"
"Well he's coming over to my apartment, I'll show him around- there is a possibility of us moving furniture- and then going out to get a good American meal," I raised my eyebrow at her and she laughed. "I said we might move furniture! Jeez, does no one get that reference?"
"Okay then. Do we want to get started, or what? What time is he coming over?"
"He's going to be at my apartment around 6:30, so we could at least start looking at clothes." I stand up and hold my hand out to Diana.
"Your closet or mine?"
~
After about 2 hours of looking through both of our closets, and me even diving into my secret stash of clothes, we found Diana's outfit. Diana and I have almost identical apartments- besides the personal touches- and we both have that extra bedroom. The difference between mine and Diana's extra room is that I was using that room for all of my designer clothes.
I grew up in the east, raised by two very smart, kind and rich people. Both of my parents were self made multimillionaires who met in high school. My mom started her own tech company, built it up, and she is now the owner of one of the best tech companies in today's world. My dad is one of the leading fashion designers of today. Although I went to public school- my parents tried to keep me as grounded as possible- I was still the daughter of two multimillionaires. I had acquired quite a collection of clothes, for all types of occasions, and as long as Diana didn't find the closet, a few expensive pieces of clothing weren't going to look suspicious.
In the end, we decided on ripped black skinny jeans, a graphic tee with the outline of a city skyline, a red leather jacket, black heeled lace up boots, and paired with a cute necklace. The colors complemented her tan, mixed-Korean skin tone. For her make up, we went with a simple black eyeliner wing around her golden brown, oval eyes, and finished with a deep red lipstick. Her hair, which was dark brown and shoulder length, we curled slightly, brushed it out and put some product in it.
In the end, she looked hot, and she was ready for anything the date threw at her. She took several selfies, I took several full body pictures of her, and we took several pictures together. By that time, everything was sorted and done with. It was time for her date with Joe. We had talked quite a bit about ourselves, and we got to know each other. I avoided my family and stayed in my college years when talking, but me and Diana bonded pretty well, I think.
We headed out towards my front door. In the 3 hours that we had been working on Diana's date look, I had taken off my sweatshirt to leave me in my sports bra and sweatpants. I opened my front door to let her go back to her apartment.
"Today was fun, Dee. I hope you have fun on your date." I looked into the hall and saw Joe standing in the hallway. I froze momentarily, and just sort of look at him. Diana didn't notice him yet because she was looking at me.
"Yeah, this was fun. I'm glad you could help me get ready for this date. We should hangout again soon."
I smiled and nodded as I unfroze.
"Yeah, and speaking of dates, here's yours. Hi Joe, have a good date you too."
I turned Diana around and pushed her fully into the hall. I closed my door and leaned against it. I giggled as I realized that it was maybe two days ago that I was in this exact position. I slid down to the floor and run my hand threw my hair. I placed my arms on knees, and gently trace the tattoo on my wrist. It was a snake that's wrapped around my wrist in a bracelet-like fashion. It was thin and gray, and I just liked to trace it sometimes. As I was tracing my tattoo, I heard my phone ping. I stood up and headed off to go find my phone.
