Day 3: Keep Trying

"Doctor, please is there anything you can do!? He doesn't even remember me!? Please!!" I sobbed in my hands as I sat beside our Doctor.

The doctor rubbed my back and said, "I'm very sorry... There is nothing I could do. But..."

"The only thing I can say is.... Stay with him try your best to stay by his side. He needs you even if he doesn't show it."

I wiped my tears and turned back to rest my head in my hands. Our Doctor tapped my shoulder and walked down the hallway.

He's' forgotten me... He doesn't love me anymore... What's the point?

I stood up from the bench. I sighed and began to walk to Jungkook's hospital room.

"Jungkook?" I knocked on the door and opened it after a few moments. As I walked inside, Jungkook was sitting at the edge of his bed and it seemed like he was trying to get up.

"Jungkook! Please be careful! You're not fully healed yet." I ran to him and grabbed his arm.

He didn't say a word, he didn't even look me in the eyes. I looked to the floor and looked back up at him.

He wanted to go see outside...

"Ok... Come one." I pulled his arm up and wrapped it around my neck.

He widened his eyes and watched me as I tried my hardest to lift him up.

Jungkook POV

What is she doing?! Why is she helping me?

She lifted me up with all her strength and helped me walk towards the window.

We got close to the window and I could feel her legs wanting to give up. I tried my best to work my legs but with not really much success.

She softly placed me on a chair and moved it so I could get a good view of outside.

Rain.

I watched carefully and as I watched, the girl put her hand on the window softly.

She was watching outside with me.

Unconsciously, I put my hand softly over hers. She widened her eyes and looked at me.

"Ah, sorry!" She pulled her hand away.

She thought I wanted her to move her hand....

"Listen, I don't expect you to remember me... But, I love you and that won't change." She said softly and almost inaudible.

Suddenly, my cheeks started burning up.

She loves me?

I turned away to hide my face and saw in the reflection, her sigh and walk outside of the room.

"Goodbye..." She said softly as she closed the door.

I smacked my hand onto the chair handle.

Who are you!? Why do you love me? I don't understand!

Suddenly, the room that seemed like a thousand tear had been shed and were taken into the walls were glowing.

I began to wonder...

Is she the reason I'm here? Did I do something to her... No... She wouldn't be that good to me.

Maybe, I tried to protect her....

I don't know...

I shook my head as the door creaked open, it was my nurse.

"Alrighty, let me help you to bed."

A few minutes later, I was in bed. The nurse had said goodnight and had turned off the lights.

Did I really love her that much that I would've taken a bullet for her...
