Finally finishing my last revision session with my Italian tutor, I smiled glad to be able to leave. I threw my bag onto my back and headed out into the completely empty corridor, nobody was around, just me, and I was the only guy who was still in the classroom block an hour after lessons were done.

At Waveney every student had to take a foreign language as a GCSE. The subject choices were rather vast, French, Spanish, German, mandarin and Russian, very few schools offered mandarin actually, but every student had to take that or one of the others. Having learned some in school previously and it being similar to Italian in some aspects, I chose French. The school however decided that as I did speak fluent Italian I had to do Italian too. Of course I didn't need regular lessons like for other subjects as I did speak it regularly when talking to my Mom, but I did need to do coursework and exam preparation. So lucky for me starting after the February half term I had an out of school tutor in to tutor me.

It wasn't too bad, she was actually a really nice chatty lady who was also Italian in origin, and she was lovely. She had a strict rule that from exactly three thirty until four thirty no English was to be spoken in the room and it had to be formal Italian not colloquial. But it was nice because we had general conversations and talked about typical Italian home life and things we had in common. But no matter how lovely she was she wasn't as lovely as being able to take off my horrible uniform, put on sweatpants and sit in Dan, Phil and Gerard's room, pretending to listen to our "group revision" as I half fell asleep on Gerard's bed, or just on him.

And that was what I did most evenings. So when we were done and she returned my mock paper - the only subject mock I got high grades in - I was happy to retire to my room and get my uniform off.

As per usual Mikey seemed rather disappointed that I was the one to come into the room after the door opened, but there has been a tiny improvement since he had been shockingly civil towards me at his house in Belleville, the insults and abuse had gone from extreme to just very harsh. He still looked far from happy to see me however and ignored me turning back to his work in his desk.

I wasn't staying though; I was going across the hall to experience the joy that was revision with Dan. Before I went across to him though I stripped from my sweaty uniform, changing into thin baggy sweatpants and a tank top, picking up my tobacco products and lighter, followed by my phone and revision books, not even looking at Mikey as I walked out again.

I was very tired and it was Monday evening, I had one week until exams started and I just wanted to go to bed. I was actually rather relieved to be able to go and sit with my friends for a few hours and chill out and most importantly revise for the subject I was convinced I was going to fail in. As a fluent Italian speaker I was confident I would succeed in Italian, it also made French easier as many words were similar as the languages were closely related, but English literature was my downfall.

Lucky for me Dan was pretty nerdy and smart and he was an English obsessive some might say. So I was going to spend some time pretending to listen to Dan as he explained everything to me in the hopes that I wouldn't fail English.

"Hi beautiful bitches." I laughed jokingly as I threw their dorm room door open seeing Phil lying on his bed reading Dan sat at his desk clearly waiting for me, and Gerard tucked up against his headboard, also reading. "Oh and Gerard, hi."

"Oh shit." Dan burst into laughter and looked over at Gerard Phil's gaze following, whilst Gerard just stared back at me with a glare which made it very clear he was unimpressed. "Someone's feeling bitchy and confident today." Dan burst into laughter as Gerard just stared for a second more before going back to reading his book as if he'd never seen me.

"He knows I don't think he's beautiful." I smirked innocently as walked past Dan finding it amusing how confused and shocked he looked. I put my stuff down on Gerard's desk, turning to see Gerard looking rather confused and slightly offended. Even Phil was furrowing his eye brows at Dan; nobody ever expected that to be something I would say.
