Threne's POV
"We'll always be here to protect you, master."
I stir in my chair when that soft whisper in my dream keeps bugging me until now. It has been replaying nonstop in my head, and I also
can't help, but notice it's soft and gentle tone that ironically makes me calm.I wonder, why it felt so real?
I touch my waist and rub each sides, reminiscing the touch.
How odd. I keep on telling myself that it is just a dream, yet why am I not believing it?
"Miley?"
Is it really a dream?
"Miley."
Yeah! It is because there's no way a ghost is residing in my house right?
"Miley~"
And also, if it really is a ghost then why did it said those words and creepily wrapped its arms around my waist?
"Miley~~~~"
Nah, that's imposible. And also, I've been residing in this house for sixteen years, and I didn't see or feel another being besides me and my mom, so I'll take that as a dream. But--
"MILEY!!"
"Y-Yes??!!"
I turn around and grin nervously at the frowning Hera. I almost forget that she's here with me.
"You're not listening, aren't you?"
I shrug my shoulder and smile when she pout. Okay, I think I piss her.
"I'm not pissed."
Did I said that out loud?
"Yes, you did. Obviously."
I slump forward and dump my head on the table. The waiter comes to our table and put our orders, but he can't put mine because my head is on the way.
Then, I feel a tiny flick on my forehead.
"Ow!"
I remove my head from the table, and the waiter use that as a chance to put my food on it. Hera grins at the yummy, delicious, mouth watering delicacies in front of us. She quickly uses her fork and dug on the food.
I smile sheepishly and also dug on my food.
"You know, if you didn't stop me awhile ago, I would have rip his throat into pieces," She grumble and pout.
Oh yeah, I told her about that incident.
And after I told her, she went to Jace and scratched his face. He's lucky that his fangirls and friends butt in before she can literally wipe his face clean.
"I would love to see that Hera, but we're in school." I think horns sprout out now from my head. I really wanted to slap, punch, kick him, and etc. But I think he already got his lesson from that day.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever."
We continue eating as she rants about this guy whom she met one day. I didn't tell her about the creepiness that happened to me because I know she won't believe.
"He was such an arrogant prick! Do you know that he made me pay the shirts that he ruined himself. I swear If I ever see him again ,I will surely kick that smug face of his."
I just nodded because I'm not really listening. I'm too busy thinking about the mysterious voice.
"Miley!"
