My Pets?!

Chapter 22

Threne's POV

"You got a girlfriend?! Why didn't you tell me?!"

This is a big revelation! Ever since we were kids,Ken dislike girls because they are annoying in his eyes. Always following him around like some kind of ducklings. Well,except for me, of course. So he never got a girlfriend until middle school. I even thought that he will be alone for eternity or maybe, he actually bat on the other team.

Well,I don't mind if he swings that way so this is very,very,unexpected.

He chuckle again. The blush on his face deepen making him look like an overripe tomato.

"You didn't ask."

Okay,he has a point. I smile on the puppies which are now playing with each other.

"Wow,I mean,this is really unbelievable! Where is she now and how did you two meet?" I ask. I'm so curious and I wanted to know this girl.

"Back at Japan. She work part-time at a pet store."

I stare at him,slightly confuse.

He chuckle a little and push some stray hair that covered his face. He sat and the puppies instantly went to him,wiggling their tails and butts which made me laugh at their cuteness.

I just wanna steal them.

"A former classmate of mine gave me a goldfish. At that time,I was going to buy it some food. So long story short,that's where we met. She's different. A good kind of different. I fell in love,asked her out and here we are, having a long distance relationship."

I nodded in understanding as I grab the other puppy and rub its tummy. She stay still,obviously loving the feeling of my hand tickling her.

"Wow,I really salute her for breaking the barrier around your heart."

I can hear him snort as my lips lift up,creating a grin. My attention came back to the little cute baby triplets.

"Do they have names already?"

"Yeah. This guy here,"

He grab the puppy who keep licking him and made his little cute paw wave at me.

"His name is Denzel. The one you are holding is Hazel and...wait,where is the other one?"

Just as he ask,laughter can be heard on the living room with a cute baby bark that can really make an animal lover melt. I saw Ken's mood deflated a bit when he realize that Hera is playing with the other puppy.

I swear,I'll confess to a stranger if Ken and Hera became friends.

"Ughh,she could get the monkey's germs. The last one is named Krystel by the way. "

I grab Denzel from Ken's hold and rub his fluffy head. I look at they're eyes which has a perfect hazel shade. So beautiful and...

Human-like?

I stop stroking them and stare hard at their eyes,having a weird feeling deep inside me. I don't know why but I notice Hazel start to stand and tilt her head cutely like a confuse marshmallow.

Maybe its just my imagination. Afterall,the guys doesn't have human eyes when they are in their animal forms.

I shrug and continue playing with them until Hera came to the kitchen with the cute Krystel on her arms.

"She's so cute and sweet!!" She squeal but stop when she saw Ken. She huff in dissapointment and let Krystel go reluctantly. Krystel run towards Ken and bit his pants,pulling it.
