Chapter 23 .
Jadah pov,
"Mommy can we go over dada with Royalty." Ryan said running towards me leaning again my lap.
"Royalty is with her friends sweetie. Plus she's coming home in a little bit." I said.
"I get ice cream?" He asked.
"Yes baby, now go downstairs. Mommy will be down there in a little bit." I smiled. He ran downstairs.
I picked my phone up checking it. I had a text message from Chris.
Christopher🙄❤️: I miss you.
I just thought for a minute. I don't know what to say to this text. I don't wanna be mean, and I don't wanna be dry.
Me: I miss you too.
I put my phone in my pocket and went downstairs.
"Ryan." I said looking for him.
"Mommy ice cream." He shouted from the kitchen. I went into the kitchen seeing him at the refrigerator. I opened the freezer door getting him a popsicle.
"Thanks mommy." He said before putting the ice cream in his mouth and running off.
"Baby slow down before you fall." I said. My phone ding indicating I had a text.
Christopher🙄❤️: Royalty's friends are leaving. A couple are still here. After they leave we'll be right over there.
Me: Sounds Great.
I went to the living room sitting on the couch turning the tv on. I crossed my legs up in the chair putting it on cartoons for Ryan.
"What's really good?" Jay asked opening the front door.
"Hey Jay."
"Wassup little man." He said holding his fist towards Ryan, Ryan put his fist towards Jay's fist.
"Where you been?" I asked as he sat down.
"Nowhere, why?" He asked.
"Because you're dressed up." I said.
"I just threw this on." He said waving me off.
"Where Destini?" I asked.
"She's at work, that's why I came over here." He said. "Where's Royalty?" He asked.
"She's with Chris. She had a sleepover over his house and they'll be over here in a little bit." I said.
"I'm just ready for that little pool party Chris throwing Saturday." He said rubbing his hands together.
"What pool party?" I asked.
"He haven't told you?" He asked, I shook my head. "Oh it's like a big ass pool party over his hands and I heard already it's a lit of people coming." He said. "Know I'm in there." He added.
"I didn't know nothing about that , I don't think." I said. "I wonder if he was going to tell me." I said.
"Just do shit." He said. "Lets go get breakfast." He said.
"You know it takes me forever to get ready." I said looking at him like he was stupid.
"Just wear what you got on." He said referring to my tank top, jogging pants and flip flops.
"Jay, you know I'm not going anywhere looking any kind of way." I said.
"Chris not going to be there." He said. "So therefore you don't have nobody to impress." He added.
