Dipper sighed, his eyebrows furrowed, forging a look of utter and complete concentration as he studied his journal, not to long after the last three were burnt to ashes did Dipper make his own journal, he felt a little bit empty without his book of the supernatural, however unbeknownst to him, a certain silky haired demon was gazing at him.
Bill continued to gaze at the taller male, wondering if that brown eyed meat-sack was the reason that Bill felt he had swallowed a bowl full of moths. He felt sure of it, whenever he looked at the man they'd grow stronger, whenever he was in close quarters with the brunet, he felt a somehow good kind of sick.
Perhaps this is what being lovesick feels like, Bill thought to himself, but Dipper is such a quiet boy, and he doesn't like me, a rowdy demon..... He also thought dejectedly.
But he kept gazing at that boy, knowing full well the consequences he would gain from this.
He loved the boy anyway, he knew it more then anything, but he would never say it, out of fear of rejection.
He supposed, he'd just have to keep from swallowing those moths....
And that's when Dipper noticed those golden eyes following all his moves, every flick of his wrist, every time he tapped his foot in annoyance.
"Afternoon Bill...." He grumbled, hatred for his journal bubbling up in his mind.
Instead of responding Bill just grunted quietly, fear that his voice would give away his condition, preventing his speech, the blonde threw his legs over the edge of the bed and sat up in one smooth movement.
Soft, tanned hands fell over brown eyes, with a small chuckle, a voice, tone matching the caramel shade of the hands, said, "Calm down, Pine-tree." Another light chuckle sounded from the voice, and Bill smiled taking one small risk, hoping that Dipper would write it of as his weirdness, he rested his chin on top of Dipper's head, the fluffy brown hair tickling his neck gently.
Dipper suddenly felt heat rising to his cheeks at Bill's movements. But Bill didn't see.
"Pine-tree, I think I'm in love with someone...." The demonic creature whispered in a voice of reluctance.
"Oh? With who? If I may ask." Dipper replied, his voice trying to hide his flustered mind, and barely succeeding.
"Well...." The demon sighed a loving sigh, bringing his small hands to rest near his chin of top of Dipper's head then continued,"They have dark hazel eyes that gleam ever so perfectly... And they have hair that match those gorgeous eyes.... It's silky and soft, it's also messy and full of knots but they seem to take care of it... They're contrast me in every way imaginable, they're smart and funny and good looking..... But they're probably going to reject me.... So I won't ask...."
Bill sighed, he wanted the boy to realise in a subtle way, he wanted to tell the boy just how amazing he was, just how perfect he was, just how good he was, so he did, whilst he broke his own already blackened heart, which had been torn in so many ways, so many times....
"I think that person is quiet and thoughtful, but not very aware of others feelings, but they're so cheerful and giddy when they find something they like, and I really love every aspect and view of them, I don't care that their teeth are slightly crooked, that their smile is slightly yellowed because of how much tea and coffee they drink, I don't care their antisocial, it makes them, them, and I really love them, don't you think, pine-tree...?" Bill let out such a love sick sigh, that it pained his chest and his heart that hadn't felt anything in such a long time.
Dipper shuffled in his seat, at first he had thought Bill loved his sister, Mabel... But the he had stated that the person drinks coffee and isn't good with feelings... and that was his point of realisation, the place he knew it was him, Bill was in love with him, Mason Pines or more commonly known as Dipper Pines. And to Bill, Pine-Tree.
That's when he forced it out of his mouth, that's when he forced himself to say it, that's when he regretted ever saying anything, that's when nothing was right that's when Dipper saw just how much love could hurt a demon, that's when Bill's world shattered, that's when Bill was shock with terrible realisation, that's when nothing and everything made sense, that's when Bill realised he should run, that's when he realised he broke a rule, that's when he realised what he had done wrong, that's when love was the rule breaking word and that's when everything began to go downhill.
" I'm sorry Bill, but I don't love you back...."
His world shook, the other's world shook to, their worlds shook together, and everything seemed to slow down, Dipper stood and turned in one smooth motion, leaving Bill in his own dizzying world, then he saw it, Bill's honey gold eyes swirled into blue, his eyes filled with water, then that same water began flooding his cheeks, he sobbed so harshly his face quickly turned pinkish-red, he didn't fall, nor falter but ran, he ran away from Dipper, away from his room, away from the stairs, away from the house, away from the porch, away from Dipper Pines, away from everything, away from nothing.
Bill entertained himself with the idea that starving had now begun to sound better then living, at least it didn't hurt as much as that God forsaken so called love.
Love is holy.
Love burnt like holy water.
LOve hurt like a cross.
LOVe stung like salt.
LOVE bites like Heaven's hounds.
LOVE Burns.
LOVE HUrts.
LOVE STIngs.
LOVE BITEs.
LOVE'S HOLY.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.
It seems, Bill swallowed those moths and now he was choking.
Love?
Bill hated the word.
