Chapter 23: Awkward Small Talk

Morgan's PoV

"Right. This is your first show on this tour. We want you to go out there and give it your best. Just remember, there's always tomorrow to do better." Mark says, we are all sat in one of the dressing rooms as Mark gives us a pep talk.

"Can we get ready now?" Ashton asks, impatiently. Ashton seems uncomfortable because he's been forced to sit next to Mae.

"Yep, girls you're on stage in 30 minutes." Mark says, then leaves the room. Ashton gets up and walks out. Ella-Mae grabs some clothes and walks to the shower room in our dressing room, leaving the rest of us sat awkwardly.

"They need to sort themselves out and make up already. Do they have any idea how awkward it is for us when they don't speak to one another?" Amelia says, after we hear the shower turn on.

"Probably not. They are both heart broken I think." Michael says, standing up.

"They haven't even been together that long though." Calum says, also standing up.

"Dude, they've been together for like a year and a half." Luke says, copying the actions of his band members.

"At least we weren't the only ones kept in the dark." Aimeeleigh says, standing up too.

"Wait you didn't know?" I ask, copying her actions.

"You knew?" Amelia asks, standing up as well.

"Why didn't I know?" Calum asks.

"Because Ashton thought you'd tweet something about it." Michael says.

"You knew too?" Aimeeleigh asks.

"Well, yeah. Why do you think when I chose the couples I left Ashton and Ella-Mae together?" Michael says.

"Why would I tweet something about it if they wanted it to be kept a secret?" Calum says.

"Fucking bullshit." Amelia mutters, shaking her head.

"Well then." Aimeeleigh says, sitting down with her arms crossed.

"Anyway, we best start getting ready, we have 20 minutes left." I say, walking over to my outfit.

"Yeah, we'll leave you all to it and check on Ashton." Luke says, then the guys all file out of the dressing room.

"If you're gonna shower hurry up." I say to the girls, then go into the other shower room with my clothes. I quickly shower, then get dressed and walk out of the shower room.

"Hairdryer's plugged in." Aimeeleigh says, pointing at the hair dryer, then goes back to scrolling through her phone.

"Thanks." I say, then walk over to it.

"We are just waiting on you now." Ella-Mae says, as I pick the hairdryer up. I nod then dry my hair as quick as possible. I comb through it once it was dry then turn around and see all the girls stood up with eyeliner in their hands. I grab my eyeliner and walk up to them.

"Let's do this." Amelia says, then we all nod and go to the big ass mirror. We start applying the black make-up and quickly finish soon after.

"Are we all ready now?" I ask, the girls all nod.

"Let's go open for 5sos." Amelia says, then we all file out the dressing room. We make our way to the wings of the stage and wait until we have to go on. The guys make their appearance when we have five minutes left.

"Hey babe, good luck out there." Luke says, kissing me on the cheek.

"Thanks, let's hope we're good enough to open up for you guys." I say, pushing him away slightly as they sort out the ear pieces for me.
