Chapter 9!

Chapter Nine!

Bella P.O.V-

We drove up to my house slowly to see all of the Cullens, except for Carlisle and Esme, standing outside my house expectantly. I sighed loudly and saw Edward look at me out the corner of my eye as he parked my car in the driveway and we both got out slowly. I winced slightly in fake pain and held my elbow lightly as I shut the door behind me. I saw everyone's expressions turn into worry as they took in our tousled appearances. I smiled at them weakly and raised a hand in greeting as we walked up to them slowly, Edward's arm around my waist.

"What the hell happened to you?" Rosalie screeched in worry, running up to me and wrapping her arms around me gently, making Edward let go of me.

"We were driving home and this car came speeding towards us from the opposite way in our lane so Edward had to swerve into the other lane to miss it and we kept driving but the car turned around and come back up to us forcing us off the road and into a tree," I said, recounting what had happened.

"The driver had strawberry blond hair and was driving a sleek Jaguar," Edward told the others suggestively which made me slightly suspicious. It has to be Tanya that he is talking about, I thought.

They all gasped and I heard Alice ask Edward if it was Tanya, much too quiet for a human to hear, fortunately for me I wasn't a human and I could hear them as easily as if they had shouted it. Edward nodded back and told them all that it was Tanya as he had, had a chance to read her mind while she was driving off. I was about to say goodbye when a group of cars pulled up to my house. I watched in joy as Jacob and the rest of his pack got out.

"Bella!" Jacob shouted out to me, running up to me quickly.

He grabbed me around the waist, pulling me out of Rosalie's arms and twirled me around in a circle before putting me back down as he noticed my cuts, he frowned.

"What happened Bella? Are you alright?" He leaned in and kissed me on the cheek lightly.

I froze in shock, "Um... yeah, I am fine, we just had a bit of a car accident," I stuttered, still in shock as I pointed at my car.

Jacob swore and walked up to my car, examining it from all angles. Leah ran up to me and jumped on me as the rest of the pack followed. I looked up and noticed the Cullen's looks of disgust as I talked and hugged the werewolves.

"Bella! Did you fall over again?" Leah teased me.

I smiled slightly, she always knew what to say to cheer me up. All of this using my powers so often and acting was making me feel down and tired. I heard Edward clear his throat and looked up at him to see him looking at me worriedly.

"We should get going now, Bella," Edward told me, walking closer.

"Okay, I had a nice time tonight," I said, lots of eyes turned towards me, questioning my sanity, "I meant the dinner and movie, Vampires rock! Tea was awesome!" I added, smiling.

Rosalie and Alice walked up to me and wrapped me in their arms. Emmett and Jasper joined in. I relaxed into their arms, I was really starting to trust these people, especially Edward.
