Bella P.O.V-

Finally it was Saturday. Today was the day of the outing to La Push with Mike, Jess, Jasmine and Angela. We were having a bonfire and thankfully the sun was hiding behind the clouds. The week had passed slowly as I wasn't at school or with Edward. I couldn't go to school because it was sunny and vampires sparkle in the sun. That is actually quite funny as we were the scariest and most dangerous species in the world. It is so girlie. I can imagine Edward, hunting a person and just as he goes for the kill, the sun comes out and he starts sparkling. I laughed silently as that thought and picture swept into my head. But the Cullen's didn't hunt humans! I chided myself gently. I had found that out when I had done a sweep of their minds. One of my many powers.

I finished washing the dishes from Charlie's breakfast and headed up to get changed into some nicer clothes. I picked out a deep ocean blue knit sweater with my black skinny jeans and short black inch-heeled boots. I swept my hair up into a high ponytail and put on some lip gloss. I grabbed my purse and phone on my way down the stairs and locked up before sliding in behind my shiny silver Audi Convertible. I turned the music onto my favourite FM channel {107.1} and sang along with every song.

I turned up at La Push fifteen minutes later and saw the group standing or sitting next to a brilliant bonfire. It had flames of blue and green in it and was completely mesmerizing. I walked up to my friends and said hi. They all smiled at me and replied as I sat down. I started talking to Jasmine and Angela about the up-coming prom but stopped when some boys from La Push walked up wearing only shorts. I tensed and sniffed the air inconspiciously They smelt like something I had never smelt before, they weren't vampires or humans, that was for sure. They were something different, supernatural like me. I thought it was only vampires?! I saw the exact moment they realised I was here because they all tensed up and looked over at me angrily. I remembered that I had taken my powers off of my smell and mind because I didn't think I would see any vampires or supernatural beings here.

Well, you were wrong, an evil voice in my head told me smugly.

Shut up I told it meanly.

"Hey, I am Sam. What is your name? Is the silver Audi Convertible yours?" He asked, I nodded and he continued, "It is unlocked."

"Thank you," I said sincerely though I swore I had locked it. I told my friends where I was going and walked down the steep slope to my car. I walked up to it and saw that it was locked. I had locked it earlier like I thought. What is going on? I thought. I realised that Sam had tricked me a minute too late. Someone cleared their throat and I looked up and saw that I was surrounded by the La Push boys with their strange smells.

"Lets go for a walk," Sam spoke up.

I nodded and followed him into the forest. All of the other boys followed behind us and we stopped a little way up the path. The La Push boys surrounded me and I looked through all of their minds, finding out what their names were and what they were.

"Werewolves!" I gasped, shocked. I never thought they would exist but I guess since vampires do, why wouldn't werewolves too.

"Yes and you are a vampire," Sam said looking at me like I was crazy.

"Sorry, I didn't know werewolves existed until just then. I am only two-years-old," I told him defending myself.

The werewolves exchanged a look before a young wolf named Jacob stepped up, "We just ask that you will kindly stay off of La Push grounds. Our job is to kill vampires and we don't want to kill you," He said before stepping back with the rest of his pack.
