Jade can't believe she's here, sitting crossed legged across from Cat and Tori, wearing pajamas.

She's at a sleepover.

She can't believe that she agreed to it, wasn't going to agree to it, but then she realizes that she can actually tell her two best friends (she can't believe she considers Tori a best friend, but she does, sometimes anyway) that well, she's pregnant.

The word still feels funny to her, but as her hand slides over her belly and rubs the small bump she feels, she finds herself getting used to it.

Does that mean she's keeping the baby? No, not at all.

But knowing that if she did choose to have this baby she would have Beck and her mother's support is a huge weight lifted off her shoulders.

"Jadey!"

Jade jumps, before she whips her head an glares at her redheaded friend. "Why the hell would you yell at me like that? I almost pissed myself."

"It's okay if you do, I've done that before," Cat says seriously.

Jade rolls her eyes, one hand moving over her belly and the other one running through her hair. "What do you want Cat?"

"Are you okay?" Tori asks. "You keep zoning out."

Jade fiddles with her t-shirt (it's really Beck's, but she loves it, it helps sooth her) debating on whether she should tell them now or later.

"See," Tori says suddenly, taking Jade out of her thoughts, "you just zoned out right now."

"I was thinking!" Jade snaps. "I know that's something that you don't do very often but those of us who do tend to go silent."

"What were you thinking about?" Cat asks.

Jade sighs as she runs her fingers through her hair. "I'm just...I have a lot going on," Jade tells her friend.

Tori raises an eyebrow. "Do you wanna talk about it?" The brunette wants to know.

Jade leans back against the couch. She doesn't want to talk about it, she wants to tell her friends before she starts really showing, but, now that the moment is here...she doesn't know what to say.

"You know you can tell us anything Jadey," Cat assures her friend, her hand finding Jade's.

Jade looks at Cat, and then Tori. She's going to have to tell them sometime, and there's no time like the present.

Jade inhales deeply before her hands fall to her belly. "Apparently, um, Beck and I...we..."

"Did you guys break up again?" Tori asks, interrupting her.

"Oh my god Jadey, no wonder you've been crankier than normal," Cat gasps, her arms wrapping around Jade's neck.

Jade pushes the girl away from her roughly, silently enjoying the way Cat squeaks as she hit the ground with a soft thump.

"Beck and I didn't break up you idiots," Jade snaps. "I wish everyone would stop asking us that."

"Well in our defense, you two have been acting different. And then you guys ran out of school the other day, we just don't know what's going on with you two," Tori says as she moves toward the kitchen area. "But, you know, whatever is going on, Cat and I would support you, right Cat?"

Cat nods vigorously before she starts singing, "We're the three best friends that anyone could have!"

Jade inhales deeply, looking down at her hands and completely ignoring Cat's singing.
