Libraries Are Battlefields.

I do not own Nintendo or any of the characters.

But I wish I did.

"Oh my gosh this is sooo boring..."

"Oh come on, it's not that bad."

"It is. My back aches!"

"We've hardly been in here for more that five minutes!"

"Yes, Mr. Hero of Time."

Robin and Link had walked over to Smashville's library, and Link had started getting on Robin's nerves as soon as they entered. He was complaining about "hard work" and how he had to work on the floor. But he was shorter than Robin, so he should work on the ground! Okay, anyway, everyone trying to read was getting fed up too, but he was oblivious to their glares and kept complaining.

"You know Link, we only have-"

"Omg Link! Is that you?!" Robin was rudely interrupted by a girl with long red hair.

Link glanced over his shoulder and looked scared, and then annoyed. "Malon... why are you here..."

"I should be asking the same thing to you!" she giggled flirtatiously. But when she caught sight of the pale haired tactician, she frowned, and glared at her. "You. You're that perverted witch that got us kicked out the other day."

"Ugh, I knew you looked familiar," Robin rolled her eyes, grabbing a book and shoving it into the correct slot. "Look, that was a misunderstanding-"

"Why are you with Link of all people?!" The farm girl cut her off yet again. Link and Robin looked confused, but then realized what she meant...

"It's not like that!!" Link said dropping the books and shaking his hands in an awkward motion.

Robin nodded quickly in agreement. "I'm paying him to help me get this job done fa-"

"UGH YOU IDIOTS. Link, do you know who this girl, er, boy... or thing is?!" Malon paused, grabbing his arm. The whole crowd of people reading was watching now. "I'm so much better than her!"

"You know, if he doesn't want you, he doesn't-"

"Why not date me like we used to? We could be the cutest couple in Hyrule!" Malon just made a big mistake.

Robin's eye twitched, and she slowly stepped down from the stool she stood on. She looked down on Malon. "It's one thing to interrupt people. It's another thing to interrupt people twice. It's another thing to interrupt people three times. But four times is a whole new category." Malon's eyes shown with a glint of fear, but she recovered almost immediately.

"Look, its not my fault that your with my Link."

"I don't think we ever agreed that I was-" Robin put a hand in front of Link, stopping him in mid sentence.

"Its one thing to interrupt someone four times. But even worse if the reason is because of a guy." Robin sighed lightly, and Malon and Link both flinched. "I appreciate a girl who a goal they're working towards, but when they try to hard in a hopeless situation, it just..." she paused. "Kind of bugs me."

Malon stepped back. "Okay, I'm sorry! Just let me-"

Robin cut her off and grabbed her. "And it's another thing to assume that the girl hanging out with him is his girlfriend, and to insult her. I know you're born out in the country, but didn't anyone teach you manners?" She released her grip of her arm, and Malon pulled away.
