HARRYS POV
My alarm sounds at 12:30pm in the afternoon,I set it so I'm in time for Cara's lunch at 1pm.
I get myself showered and smartly dressed,running my fingers through my hair and I'm ready to see her.Hopefully she is more awake today.
I just don't know how I'm going to stop her from hating me.
I head out into the garden picking another flower,before making my way to Cara's room.
I notice that one of the flower is missing out the the jug,I place the new one in the jug.Soon noticing that Cara is holding the other flower.
My face lights up in a smile at the fact she went to sleep with my flower in her hand,maybe she doesn't know it's from me that's probably why.
She soon stirs in her sleep I turn on my heels as I become nervous.I don't want to wake her I.
I reach the door frame and look back at her once more.As soon as I begin to step outside the door,I hear a mumble.
"Wait,you can stay if you like" She says causing my heart to skip
I slowly turn around to see Cara's eyelashes batting at me.
I quietly step into the room and awkwardly take a seat next to her
She politely smiles at me as I stare into space,in the middle of the room.
"The flowers are lovely,thankyou" She compliments,breaking the silence.
I smile at her for a while
Come on Harry your looking creepy now
"I'm glad you like them" I smile at her again
"How are you feeling?" I ask her
"Okay I guess,in slight pain but it's bearable" She replies
"I'm sure the painkillers will kick in after a while" I say
The lady with the lunch trolley soon comes round.
"Good afternoon my darling,I'm Pat" Pat the older nurse introduces herself.Ive always liked pat,she's like the mother I never had.She'd always comfort when I was ill.
"Afternoon Pat" Cara smiles
Cara's smiles warms something in me.I could watch her all day.
"Okay dear what would you like to eat?Unfortunately the doctor has instructed soft foods for you sweetie" She informs Cara
"So we have : Jelly and ice cream for you,and a strawberry milkshake,.How does that sound?" Pat offers
"Perfect,I feel like a child again" Cara laughs
Pat places the food in front of Cara "Let me be a spoon babes and then I'll be back to feed you" She says
"Okay,thanks" Cara comments
"Erm Pat?" I ask jus before she leaves the room
