"Are you sure?" Vernon raised a brow.
Nari nodded, her cheeks beginning to ache after forcing herself to smile for so long.
She had told Vernon that she would stay back to help clean the place up for him, so he could leave earlier.
"Okay then, the keys are over there, make sure to lock this place up once you're done." He reminded.
"I will. Have a safe trip home!" Nari said to her boss.
Once he left, she sighed, plopping onto one of the comfortable chairs in the cafe, finally alone.
No, she's still not okay, even if everything was going perfectly fine.
That's just how depression works.
"I wanna stay here all night," murmured Nari. She found the small cafe very calming, especially when it's empty and she's the only one there.
She was resting for a couple of minutes before the bell chimed. Someone had entered.
With a soft groan, Nari spoke flatly, "I'm sorry but we're closed - "
" - Mingyu?"
