  • Dedicated to Jenee' Eden- for being a fantastic cousin and great friend rolled into one.

The next day, Rebeckah, James and Rupert woke up late and quickly devoured their breakfast to continue whatever Rupert had in store for them. "What's on the agenda today?" asked James.

After gulping a swallow of orange juive, Rupert answered "Well, you obviously saw the castle gounds and rural area of Regnum yesterday. today, I thought I'd let you see the urban areas.."

Rebeckah and james smiled genuinely, both taking note that  this was the first time they had really purely smiled and it might be for a while too. "are we going to the capitol city?" asked Rebeckah. "I read all about it the books in my room."

"Yes, of course we have to go there. But don't egt yourself too excited," Rupert told them.

"Why not?" inquired James.

Rupert's face from hopefully expectant to a mock sort of look, as if to say, "don't even ask." "Oh I forgot!" said Rupert, smacking his hand aganist his head. "If we're going out into the city, we have to change our clothes!"

"why do we have to change our clothes? We're wearing linen I thoght you said everyone wears that here!" Rebeckah said.

"Not these days," Rupert shook his head, myseriously grave. "We have to change into brown jumpsuits. Each of you should have one in you room."

"A brown jumpsuit? The sounds hideous. We'll stand out-" fretted Rebeckah.

"No you won't," Rupert cut her off. "just go change. I'll be wearing the same thing."

As if Rupert were their mother, ordreing him around to do as he says, Rebeckah and James marched up to their bedrooms as if they were displeased little children, in fear of what he would say if they didn't.

The brown jumpsuit was made of thick heavy material and it wieghed down each of their shoulders, slowing them when they walked. Also, the clunky and roomy army boots she was told to wear dragged and made evey step sound out with a hollow flopping noise.

James just so happened to walk out of his room at the same time Rebeckah did, bearing the same ugly outfit  as she. Judging by the extreme look of dismay on his face, was eually unhappy about the style choice. "We look like militairy officer," fumed James. Rebeckh only nodded in agreement and continued to walk down the corridor.

Rupert was  wearing the same atrocious outfit, his hair greased back (because the HS would recognize him as the prince if he didn't look different) and standing near the moat exit/ entrance. He was leaning against a pillar, whistling a happy tune until Rebeckah and James approched him looking thourgholy perturbed. As if reading their minds, Rupert answered their unspoken question, "I'm sorry! But it's Hostiban law. If we're not wearing them, the HS will shoot us, if we're lucky eanough to leave in so quickly."

Their quetioned answered, Rebecah and James quit whining and stomped (dur to the boots) out to the ocean. All three had problems going down the hill in their unfasinalble protocall. James tripped and rolled his way down, Rebeckah stumbled; nearly landing her ace next to a garden snake, while Rupert trodded, stagering breaths.

After tht strife, they landed themselves at the ocean edge, the waves leaving shells and excess water behind it when they rolled away. Hair fallping in th wind, Rebckah asked, "how do you expect to get us out to the city? Swim?"

Rupert espnded to her unusual sardonacy, with a flicker of a look of disdain and a short, 'i didn't plan on it but our weilcome to try."

He began to walk left, in habt, James and Rebeckah wnr eith him. their past two days here, proving to be mystical and magical, the twins expected some sort of ingenius invention, spells, or creature to take them to the capital city in a measley minute or two. However they stood outside an old, house with color fading and paint chipping. "It's a boat house," stated James.
