Haruna Nanase, Haruka's twin sister. Haruna lives alone and goes to a different school. Haruna is very much like her twin brother, having an obsession with water and mackerel. She is more upbeat and social than Haruka. To avoid the confusion between herself and Haruka, her friends call her "Ha-chan" or "Nana-chan," and she keeps her long black hair tied up in a ponytail. Haruna is also part of her school's swim team and swims freestyle and backstroke. Upon meeting Makoto for the first time, Haruna falls in love with him, always attempting to keep him away from her twin brother.
Miharu Katou, Haruna's childhood friend. Miharu loves to mess around with Haruna. Her birthday is March 21. Miharu often draws pictures about couples. Her very first drawing was one with Haruna and Makoto together as a couple. Haruna claims that Miharu drew a dead Haruka because of her hate towards him.
Ai Aizawa, Another one of Haruna's friends. Ai's birthday is July 1. Ai is part of the swim team and swims freestyle. Ai has a slight crush on Haruka, but always denies all claims about her feelings for him. Outside of school, Ai's a blogger. Ai's blog is, according to her, "95.5% boys love and .5% otome." She ships Haruka and Makoto. She is great friends with Nagisa.
