4. Hello there

Haruna covered herself up after a few minutes inside the bathtub. The three boys waited outside for her to come out so they can have dinner. Ai and Miharu haven't even returned, having been an hour after they left.

"So, you two are twins?" said Nagisa. Haruka looked as if he wanted to shoot himself in the head. He sighed and tried to start up his explanation about why he never told them about his other "self."

"Yeah. We live on our own. She lives in a different town and goes to a different school. We feel independent, so there's no need to live with each other."

"It's amazing that you have a twin sister," Makoto stated. "Now we feel even closer."

"Yeah.." Haruka sighed. Haruna finally came out of the bathroom and met up with Haruka and his friends.

"Um, nice to meet you! I'm Haruna." Harun hurriedly introduced herself.

"Nice to meet you! I'm Nagisa Hazuki and this is Makoto Tachibana, but we call him 'Mako-chan' for short!"

"Haha, that is true, but I believe that it's only you who call me that." Makoto chuckled a bit. Haruna's eyes fell upon Makoto at first sight. His beautiful green hairs and brown hair, his well-built body and great height. He had everything that she wanted.

"Mind if I sit next to you?" Haruna asked Makoto. Makoto nodded and allowed some space between him and Haruka in which Haruna gladly accepted.

"I'm gonna go cook." Haruka spoke at last. Haruna watched her brother walk into to the kitchen as she tried to erase Makoto's image from her memory. She couldn't. He's just too precious to be erased. He apparently "had" her in his circle of girls that he never paid attention to. She was the next victim. There was no way out of it. Haruna felt her soft hair touch her shoulders as droplets of water trickled down her arms. Her hairtie was wrapped around her wrist and her shirt was a bit moist.

"Haruna, what should we call you?" asked Makoto, not being sure of how to tell them apart easily.

"My friends call me 'Ha-chan' or 'Nana-chan.' Either one's fine."

"Ahhhhh, Ha-chan!" Nagisa said with joy.

"Well, that's great that you have two nicknames. I guess I'll go with 'Nana-chan'." He made Haruna blush within seconds. She tried to hide her silky smooth face from the 6-foot tall boy, but she just couldn't stand looking at his body. There was no way to avoid it. Makoto's phone vibrated once again.

Message 8: Makoto-senpai, is Nagisa-kun with you? He forgot his penguin blanket again and I fear that he'll rob Haruka-senpai of all the blankets. Oh, and I finally found my glasses, though they are a bit dull. I am truly sorry if I am blowing up your phone, but may I ask you if I could come over to Haruka-senpai's house tonight? If possible?

"Mako-chan, aren't you gonna reply?" asked Nagisa. He was leaning over Makoto, trying to reach for the phone because Rei's message popped up. Makoto gently pushed Nagisa off of him and prepared to reply to Rei's text.

Mako Text 1: Rei, I think we're full right now

"Haru-chan! Can Rei-chan come over tonight?"

"Why ask me?"

"Well you own this place, right? So can he come over? He has my blanket..."

"As long as he doesn't arrive here at midnight, then I guess it's fine. Make sure he doesn't sleep in my bathtub. I fear that the water might kill him."

Nagisa laughed a little and attempted to snatch the phone away from Makoto who was still texting Rei back.

"Awwww, Mako-chan! Haru-chan said it's okay for him to come over as long as it's not midnight!"

"Haha, okay." Then Makoto prepared another text.

Mako Text 2: Haru said it's okay for you to come over. Just don't sleep in the bathtub.

Message 9: I will not go near his bathtub! Why would I even sleep in it? My body is like a sponge! I don't want my skin to wrinkle! It's not beautiful! Okay... I'll be on my way soon.

"Um, what's going on?" said the confused Haruna. Makoto and Nagisa looked at her and smiled.

"Our friend plans on coming over tonight," Makoto answered her.

"Oh, I see... Hey, Haruka?"

"Hm?"

"Where should I sleep?"

"...." Haruka didn't have an answer for his sister. He had no idea that Haruna was staying over for a while. He turned off the stove and turned around with a plate of cooked fish in his hand.

"Take mom and dad's room. I don't even sleep in there anyway."

"Thanks!" Haruna smiled cheerfully.

"....." Haruka looked down at his fish and almost drooled over it. It was a masterpiece to him. He didn't want all of it go away at once. He wanted it to last a little longer so he could gaze at its "beauty."

"So, Haru-chan! Are we gonna watch the movie I brought?"

"...."

"Nagisa, I guess he doesn't mind. Haruna, do you want to watch with us?" said Makoto, gazing at Haruna's hair. Haruna took one glance at Makoto and hid her red face from him. He's just too gorgeous, that's all she thought. He could possibly kill her with his good and innocent looks!

"What is it that you're gonna watch?" Haruna asked the two boys curiously. Nagisa grinned at Haruna and showed her the DVD case.

"It's this! I've watched a few times with Rei-chan and he cried."

"What's so sad about it?" said Makoto.

"Someone got stabbed--"

"AHHHHH NAGISA NO!!" demanded the gentle orca. His arms flailed in Nagisa's face as he tried to stop him from scaring him into his early grave. Nagisa didn't see any problem with Makoto's great fear of scary things, as he was somewhat entertained by it.

"Mako-chan?"

"W-What is it?"

"Behind you."

"Poke." went Haruka who was sitting right behind Makoto. Whether he was playing with Nagisa or not, Haruka sent shivers down Makoto's spine. Makoto was THIS close to losing it.

"GAHHHHHHHHHHH!!" He screamed and tried to hide behind Haru, but it looks like he was against Makoto. He then crawled near Haruna and hid behind her. Haruna's heart skipped a few beats; she felt Makoto's warm hands covering her shoulders, and his tense muscles colliding with hers.

"Nagisa, I think you should stop," Haruna said nervously. Nagisa pouted at Haruna and continued to poke fun at Makoto. He refused to leave his spot as Nagisa (and possibly Haruka) continued to scare him.

"Ha-chan! Open up! Why would you even close the door in the first place?!"

"Miharu, that's a stupid question."

"Uh, what was that?" said Nagisa. Haruka slowly got up and walked to the door. He pressed his right ear against the door and listened to the quiet conversation between the two girls. Five seconds later, he proceeded to walk away from it.

"Ahhh, Haru I'll get it!" Makoto panicked a little.

"Mako-chan, fight!" Nagisa joked, receiving an evil glare from Makoto. Haruka moved out of Makoto's way and sat beside Haruna. Makoto walked up to the door and opened it, gently holding onto his chest.

"Ah, hi there! Wait, you're the guy we saw earlier!" said Miharu. Confused, Makoto raised an eyebrow at her. Who's she? What's she doing here? What's going on?

"Um, have we met before?" Makoto asked.

"I believe it was almost an hour ago," Miharu answered. She looked back at Ai who was carrying over five bags. Miharu definitely "helped" her out.

"May we come in before my arms fall off?" said Ai. She smiled at Makoto who, without a doubt, returned her precious smile with his own. He let the two girls in without another word, and closed the door behind him. Ai and Miharu made their way inside Haruka's house and found themselves in the middle of a conversation between Haruka, Haruna, and Nagisa.

"Ai, look. Another Haruna has appeared." Miharu whispered.

"It looks like there is another Haruna."

"They are indeed." Makoto added.

"Ah, Mako-chan has a few dates with him!"

"AHHHH NO I DON'T. I DON'T EVEN KNOW THEM, NAGISA!"

"Who?" said Haruka, who was too lazy to talk some more. He looked straight at Haruna who looked like she's familiar with the two girls. Haruna smirked at Haruka and introduced the two girls to the boys.

"This is Miharu Katou and the girl with the bags is Ai Aizawa."

"Nice to meet you," Miharu greeted them eagerly.

"N-Nice... to... meet.. you." Ai struggled with her words when the bags she was carrying this entire time pulled her down to the ground. She was so out of it. No more energy because Miharu "helped" her with the stuff.

"Ahhh, I'll help you up," Makoto said as he rushed over to Ai's side. Surprisingly, Haruna didn't feel a burning passion to crush Ai's face for being near her man. She knew that Makoto's the type of guy who's open to anyone. She carefully watched the two clean up the mess around them, wrapping a strand of her black hair around her finger. She rested her elbow on the table and placed her palm underneath her smooth cheek.

"Ahhhh, we should introduce ourselves, too! I'm Nagisa Hazuki!"

"Haruka."

"I'm Makoto Tachibana. Nice to meet you." Makoto helped Ai up as he took care of the bags. He quickly peeped in one of the bags and noticed party favors. He then realized what the two girls were up to, so he decided to play along.

"Aren't we gonna watch a movie?" said Haruna at last. Nagisa looked at the CD he was holding and sighed. He almost forgot about the movie, so he crawled over to the DVD player, opened the disc tray, and popped the CD in its place. Miharu walked over to the light switch and flipped the switch off. It was almost completely dark in Haruka's house. Nagisa was the most obvious one to see because of his hair, and the Nanase twins were the hardest because they're the most silent of the group. Makoto sat next to Haruna with his warm and muscular arm barely touching Haruna's. The two swimmers felt each other's warmth. Miharu was sitting on the other side of Haruna, rubbing up against her other arm. Ai, on the other hand, was sitting beside Haruka and Nagisa. She glanced at Haruka, who was secretly watching Makoto from a short distance. His eyes detected a slight romance between Makoto and Haruna, but Haruka didn't believe that. They just met.

"Aiko, I'm sorry that I've been this way...."

"Kaiji, you don't have to feel sorry for yourself. I love you."

"And I love you--" *SPLOOSH!*

A death in the movie caused Makoto to jump a little, almost holding onto Haruna with his bare hands. Nagisa was so into the movie that no one would even dare turn off the TV.

Message 10: Makoto-senpai, I'm out front.

"Ah, it looks like he's here." Makoto slowly got up from his spot and walked over to the door. He heard Rei's deep breathing coming from the outside, and smirked a little. He welcomed the nerd inside with a warm smile.

"Ah, why is it so dark?" said Rei.

"We're watching a movie at the moment. Care to join?"

"Of course." Rei answered proudly, adjusting his glasses the usual way. The two guys went back into the room, with Makoto going back to his spot and Rei looking for a spot to rest in until Nagisa spotted him and forced him to sit with him and the others.

"Ah, Rei..." Haruka exhaled. He caught Haruna's attention which lead to her looking at his direction.

So that's the guy they've been telling me about. I feel so sleepy all of a sudden.

Haruna swayed left and right, bumping into Makoto and Miharu. Her eyes grew heavy and her yawns became big and common. Makoto grabbed the nearest pillow that he could reach for and threw it on his lap. He signaled Miharu to push her into his lap, in which she eagerly agreed. She gently pushed the sleepy Haruna into Makoto's warm and comfy lap. He petted her head to make her feel comfortable.

Reminds me of the kids... They'd always fall asleep on me like this. It's so cute. This has been a habit of mine ever since they started the trend.

Haruka snuck over to Makoto, taking oveer his sister's spot, and silently sat next to him.

"She tends to sleep during movies." Haruka informed Makoto. He smiled down at Haruna and looked back at Haruka.

"She reminds me of the siblings. They always do this."

"Yeah." Haruka began to let out small yawns. He felt tired as well and wanted to sleep. He didn't even get a chance to chat with Rei, but he didn't mind. Haruka's eyes slowly closed, and he fell into a deep sleep. Makoto smiled at Haruka and let him sleep on his shoulder. Ai, on the other hand, watched the two boys sit next to each other. She grinned to herself and came up with an idea. Nagisa wasn't paying any attention to Ai as he was so into making Rei watch the movie with him. Rei was sitting across from Nagisa at the table.

Rei-chan I know you wanna sit next to me!

Makoto continued to baby the twins as they were soundly asleep. Haruna sleeping on his lap, and Haruka sleeping on his shoulder. He stared at Haruka carefully and a light red blush appeared on his face. He felt at home with the two, especially Haruka, and he felt so connected to the Nanase family like never before. He looked down at Haruna, and blushed even harder.
