I can hear the water calling me.... I can hear the water's cries for help... It wants me... It really wants me...
Haruka was relaxing in his bathtub as usual, keeping to himself in his own house. He watched the sun shine through the leaves of a nearby tree. He felt so comfortable resting by himself. No interruption, no interaction with others, nothing. He felt so happy to be in the water. He never wanted to leave his lover.
I sense that someone wants to see me... God I bet it's him. No, it's a she this time... But who? Ah, who cares?
Haruka slowly closed his eyes, and enjoyed his alone time...
-Knock knock-
"Oh, god..." Haruka groaned as he opened his ocean blue eyes. He looked at the door, but refused to leave the tub. He wanted to ask who was there, but was too lazy to.
"Haru, I know you're in there. Don't you hide from me."
And there he is...
The door burst open, and in came a tall young man with beautiful green eyes.
"As expected," he laughed at Haruka.
"Makoto, what do you want this time?"
"You 'forgot' your homework... again."
"Ah, that..."
I know that we've been friends forever, but having him around 24/7 kills my alone time.
Makoto extended his arm to Haruka to help him out of the tub. Haruka looked up at him with his usual serious expression on his face. He accepted Makoto's hand and slowly got up from his tub. Water dripped from his well-built body, acting as little raindrops falling from the sky. Haruka whipped his hair dry of the excess water and wiped his eyes clean.
"As expected, a swimsuit." Makoto sighed.
"Shut it and get out," Haruka replied.
He's usually the one to come over, even if I didn't tell him to.
"It's that time of year again and I think we should do something special over here."
"Hm?"
"Haru, your birthday's coming up and we should do something. Wouldn't that be nice?"
"No."
"But why?"
"It's too more effort."
"Come on, Haru. Please?" Makoto begged Haruka while tugging on his shirt. He, according to a huge population of girls, acted as an adorable big brother to his friends. The way he acted toward his friends, the way he smiled, and his kind self. Despite being weak-hearted and scared easily, Makoto still showed himself as the big brother that everyone looked up to. All the girls squealed whenever he passed by them, and they would scream even louder whenever he was shirtless. His extremely toned body, that incredible strength. All of that belonged to the adorable young man. He basically has a female harem that he never pays any attention to, acting as if every day was normal and fine to him.
"Makoto, why is it that whenever I don't want to do something that you want me to do, I end up doing it?"
"Huh?"
"It happens, can't you see?"
"Haha, so it is... Well, you're gonna have to open up soon. You can't stay in your hard shell forever."
"There's no law saying that I can't."
"Seriously, Haru..." Makoto sighed in disappointment. There was no way he could break open Haruka's anti-social shell. The best thing to do was to leave Haruka as is. Haruka stretched his arms and yawned. He then got up and proceeded into the kitchen to cook up some fish. Makoto watched from the other room, not wanting to leave his comfortable spot in the house.
