Okay, so this happened last year in Mrs. Vella's class.
We were learning about animals and she told us to raise our hands if we've ever seen a South Carolina lizard. Everyone but me raise their hands.
"You've never seen a South Carolina lizard?" she asks.
"Nope," I answer.
"how long have you lived here?"
"Since I was 5."
"You've seen one."
"if I have I don't remember. Wait... are they the green ones?"
"Yeah."
"ooooohhhhhhh," I say. I pause, then raise my hand.
That was one of my blonde moments (no offense to blondes)
