The Past Revealed: Origins of Life

So I thought I should get another chapter out for this since its been a while. Again I'm sure you understand. The first few chapters of this may seem short but are more like establishing chapters. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy.

Ash and Serena both stared in shock at Sabine. "The fate of reality? What do you mean?" Serena queried, a little shaken by this girl. It didn't help that her expression stayed neutral both when she knew their names and when she talked about a life ending threat.

"Serena, Ash, those strange pulses from earlier how did they make you feel?" Sabine asked, though they both suspected she already knew the answer. "Cold..." They both stated. They looked at each other and were in complete agreement.

"I thought as much. Well, that was the power of the Pokemon known as Obliternus, the Omega." Sabine's expression was unreadable but from her tones it was obvious how serious she was. Clemont stood up. "The Alpha and Omega..."

Everyone else turned their attention to him. "Clemont, what do you mean?" "What's up big brother?" Ash and Bonnie questioned him and he answered both. "Alpha and Omega are like opposites, if Obliternus is the Omega, he is the opposite of..."

"Arceus." Sabine finished for him. "Impressive deduction skills Clemont." This made the young scientist blush but of course, Bonnie was the only one who noticed it.

Serena was slightly confused. "So, what does this Obliternus have to do with anything?" Sabine turned to her still expressionless. Serena still didn't know how to feel about that. "This all comes down to the origins of everything. Us, Pokémon even life itself."

"Allow me explain..."

'Long ago, the longest time ago two Pokemon came into existence. These Pokémon were known as Arceus and Obliternus. One was light and good, the other dark and terribly evil. The two Pokemon immediately disliked eachother.

It is said they were both two halves of an egg and when the egg shattered they split in half to form the first opposites. The egg shards then gave further form to the Pokemon. Arceus got a large golden brace around itself. This was his symbol. Obliternus got a similar one which was bigger and black. Both were full of celestial energy unlike anything that ever existed.

Anyway, eventually the two Pokemon realised that they could not both exist like this. You could say that at the time, the universe literally was not big enough for the two of them.

Obliternus and Arceus fought to to determine who the Alpha would be. It seemed like Arceus would lose due to Obliternus' dark energy and larger size. Obliternus was sure his light stained brother was going to be...obliterated.

In reality, Arceus was only just getting used to his power. Obliternus went all out from the start but believed he alone could defeat Arceus.

Arceus put his focus into his own speciality. The way that his evil counterpart behaved, as a destroyer, he realised he must be the opposite. A creator. So Arceus used some of his energy to create elements. The first were Fire, Water, Electricity, Grass and Dragon. He formed them each in their primordial forms below their battle.

From these five the 12 other elements were born. Ground, Ice, every element of all Pokemon we see today. Arceus used some of Obliternus' energy to create dark types so there was balance.

Each of these elements now existed around the first five in a sort of primordial goo. All of this while he battled Obliternus, this is how powerful Arceus was. And he wasn't done yet.

While still keeping Obliternus at bay, he began to give the elemental goo below them their own forms. The first were fire and water. The shapes grew together very closely. Opposites do this just like Arceus and Obliternus. Water took the form of the first human female and fire the first human male.

They were basically made of fire and water since, well, clothes hadn't been invented yet. Either way, both of the first humans looked at eachother had an immediate understanding and looked up. Arceus stared down at his first creations, his children as the others began to take shape. 9 girls and 9 boys in all.

The 18 elementals had just come into existence. In doing so Arceus also invented elemental physics. For example, Obliternus' attacks now had types such as dragon and dark.

Obliternus then noticed a group of humans giving him a defiant look. Confused by this, he turned to Arceus and commented on his brothers frail new toys.

Arceus had no response. He looked down upon his children who all regarded him with the respect a child would its father. They all bowed and when they did each glowed in the colour of their element. Half of their energy was returned to Arceus in the form of a plate. 18 plates in all fused with elemental power. Arceus now had the ability to negate any and all attacks with those plates.

With his new power and the help of his creations he forced Obliternus into a corner. Arceus had won and was now the Alpha. He said "Obliternus, as the Alpha, I cast you the Omega out of this dimension, you will have your own space and you shall never return here. Farewell." And with that he was banished to his own dimension. Much like Giratina you could say.

Arceus then proceeded to create everything. After around 5 days, he had completed his reality. A creation to rival all. He created Earth for his children and realised they could use company. So he created Pokemon who also had elements. And then he created some non elemental humans. He tasked his children to take care of his world and their new companions.

He then retreated to his own dimension to recover his strength through a millennia of slumber.'

"And thats the story." Sabine emotionlessly stated. No words from everyone else which was to be expected. That was quite a story. Finally Ash spoke up. "How do you know all of this Sabine?" They could of swore a slight smile crept up on her face.

"Well, I mentioned the elementals. Let's just say I'm Psychic.(Sorry had to ;) ) Well I am a descendant of the Psychic elemental." She said calmly like that was no big deal.

Once again she had the group in shock. "Ok, well what does that have to do with us?" Serena asked. "Simple, Obliternus is rising and i need to gather the other descendants. I have already found two which is a good start."

Still confused they all continued looking at her. "Ash, Serena, you are the descendants of fire and water." "Wait...WHAT!!" Ash and Serena yelled.

Sorry for such a long wait!!!. Hope you guys like this. This story is just getting started. Let me know what you think. You guys know the past but the future is unclear to all, except for Sabine and me I guess.
