Where to start. I'm sorry guys, seriously. College has been a massive block for my writing and I have also had massive writers block which definitely hasn't helped. I will try an establish an update schedule soon. It is time I take on the role of writer rather than reader once again. Again apologies for the lack of updates hope you enjoy the chapter.

Ash and Serena both stood up shocked at this revelation. Clemont and Bonnie also couldn't believe their ears.

"Sabine, what do you mean? How could we be descendants of something which happened so long ago?" Serena asked anxiously. She already knew the response though.

"Simple, if you recall I told you that Arceus also made non elemental humans. The elementals would have found love. After all they are human as well. The offspring produced by this union would share the blood of both humans. It would seem however that only one element can be present in the offspring at a time except for special circumstances..."

"Special circumstances?" Clemont chimed in. Sabine regarded him for a moment. "All in due time."

"Lets pretend we are what you say Sabine, what do we have to do?" Serena questioned with reluctance. Sabine stared for a few moments emotionless and then said. "You still have doubts Serena?"

Serena nodded. She understands there may be a very powerful Pokemon at work but she didnt understand how she could be so important to be a descendant of the water elemental. "Perhaps a demonstration is in order." Sabine spoke soft and then rose to her feet.

Ash, Serena, Bonnie and Clemont all watched her focused movement confused. Ash and Serena then looked to each other. Serena mouthed the words "What is she going to do?" Ash looked at Sabine one more time and then turned to Serena with a reassuring smile. "Don't worry." He said aloud.

Serena grinned to herself for his caring nature and watched Sabine with renewed interest. Sabine stood in an almost battle ready stance. "Please can everyone stay quiet, I need to concentrate to do this." She stated closing her eyes.

"Do what?" Ash blurted out causing Sabine to open her eyes at him. "What did I just say?" Ash rubbed the back of his head embarrassedly and chuckled. After a sigh Sabine closed her eyes once more.

Utter silence filled the air. Nothing happened for around 10 seconds. Ash was about to question what Sabine was getting at when it happened.

Sabine began to glow with a deep aura of blue. Psychic energy emanated from her how rays would from the sun. Her eyes opened and her retinas were now the same sapphire blue.

Sabine looked to her right at a boulder as big as her. With one hand she gestured towards it. The gang followed her gaze to the massive rock. A few moments passed and the boulder had a mirror aura of Sabine. Everyone's eyes widened. But they were surprised further when the boulder began levitating.

Sabine lifted it slowly, as her hand rose, so to did the rock until it was well over her head in height. Serena put her hands over her mouth in awe while the others stared mouth agape at this psychic themed display of energy.

A few very short seconds of levitation and the aura faded away, both for Sabine and the boulder. It then rattled to the floor with a resounding thud kicking up dust a few feet in every direction. At the same time as the rock hit the floor, Sabine fell to her knees breathing heavily.

This drew the attention of the others as Clemont rushed over to Sabine to help. His fast reaction left a moment of surprise. Bonnie and Serena exchanged a look over Clemont's reaction. A smile was on both their faces.

"You ok Sabine?" Ash asked walking over. She stood up holding on to Clemont's arm with one hand for support. "I will be fine. Using my abilities just makes my stamina take a hit." She looked up at Clemont while pushing a black lock of hair away from her eyes. "I thank you for the assistance Clemont."

The young scientist blushed. "No problem Sabine." He looked away with his red face but this time Serena noticed it as well as Bonnie. Clemont helped Sabine back to where she was sitting. He then proceeded to packing up the tents.

"That was amazing!" Bonnie squealed when she was sat next to Sabine. "I agree, but wait..." Ash started. Everyone looked at him. "If you got the ability from the fact your the psychic descendant... Does that mean me and Serena can lift stuff with our minds to!?" Ash yelled with stars in his eyes.

Sabine gave him her usual expressionless stare. "No, of course not." Ash's mood immediately deflated. "No fair..." He pouted at her. Sabine made a sound almost like a chuckle. "You and Serena will be able to command the elements of fire and water."

Ash's smile returned quick as a bullet on those words. He began bombarding Sabine with questions. "Will I be able to use flamethrower? Could I be on fire like that one superhero? Hoe many ahhh.." "Thats enough out of you." Serena grabbed Ash by the ear and dragged him away from her. This caused Bonnie to giggle.

"What was that for?" Ash questioned Serena with a hint of annoyance. "Simple, you were being a hothead... Uh no pun intended. Sabine needs a minute." Ash pouted even more. "You didnt need to stretch my ear..."

Serena went straight up in his face with an angry expression. Mere inches apart, her face immediately changed to a smile. She winked at him and said "Dont be such a wuss." Ash was taken aback by this. A strange tug happened in his stomach. It was warm, very warm.

"Thank you Serena." Sabine interrupted. Serena pulled back with a blush, her confidence suddenly faded. "Uh no prob." Her blush faded quite quick. "However I am just as curious as Ash, what kind of abilities do you think we might have?" Sabine thought for a moment.

"Well I have telepathy and telekinesis so far, but the telepathy is kinda weak." Serena realised something. "She is talking different to us, much more casually then when we first met. Is she beginning to trust us?"

"I guess I am Serena." Sabine smirked. "I said it was weak not non existent." Serena laughed nervously after having her thoughts read. "Anyway, you two will obviously have a control over your respective elements as well as an affinity for Pokemon of said elements. So water types will be more friendly towards you and fire types towards Ash." Serena nodded in understanding along with Ash.

"Beyond that I'm not sure, I'm discovering new abilities all the time. You two might have something unique later down the line." Sabine finished. Everyone seems fairly satisfied with that answer. "So what do we do now?" Clemont asked.

"A while ago, I had the vision of you two being the closest elementals. We need to gather the rest of them in order to stop the rise of Obliternus. Will you all help me?" Ash and Serena looked at each other and so did Clemont and Bonnie. They all nodded to each other. "You can count on us!"

Sabine nodded back to the rest of them. Ash jumped to his feet in eagerness. "So where do we start?" Sabine recalled the last part of her vision. "The ghost elemental has just appeared. Somewhere near Lumiose City, we need to get there and tell him or her what's going on. Chances are their powers are activating and they don't know what to do about it."

"Thats at least a two day trip." Clemont said. "They might move on before we get there." Once again Sabine regarded him for a moment. "Fair point but I have a solution. Here take my hand." Clemont exploded into a blush again. "Wha...why?" Bonnie nudged him forwards. "Just do it big brother, be a man."

"I was talking to all of you. Clemont take my hand and Serena take my other. Then Ash and Bonnie hold on to the two of you." They followed the instructions. Clemont held one of Sabine's hands and Bonnie held his while Ash and Serena did the same. Serena was screaming internally but it quickly subsided.

"Now this might feel a little weird." "What will..." Before Serena could even finish her sentence. They all glowed blue and began to float. Within moments of them leaving the floor a green light melded with the blue. "Hold on!"

And just like that the group flashed away in a bright light. Sabine teleported them all away. Their destination: Lumiose City.

Hope you guys enjoy the chapter. Once again sorry for not updating so much. On the bright side got alot planned for this now. How will Ash and Serena cope with their newfound heritage? Who is the mysterious individual who is the descendant of the ghost elemental. Find out in the next chapter!
