Chapter 6- Normal?

I think I'm going insane.

We just stood there and stared at eachother for what felt like forever. Finally, I broke the silence.

"So if you're not going to kill me, what's your name?"

"Jeff. My name is Jeff."

"Well nice to meet you, I guess, Jeff," I held my hand out for him to shake. He just stared at me like I had 6 heads. I pulled my hand away nervously.

"So what do you want from me? You said I had potential, there's got to be something you want from me," I spoke quickly.

"I don't want something from you. I want you, Sky." I blushed.

"You know, you're cute when you blush," he spoke.

That made me blush even more.

Then I got this feeling. Something I hadn't felt since my dad died. I don't know how to describe it.

Love?

No, no, I wasn't seriously falling for a serial killer. Besides, this was like, what, our second time actually meeting.

Jeff broke me out of my train of thoughts when he, all of a sudden, hugged me. I didn't care though and hugged back. His embrace was warm, caring, loving, none of which you would expect from a killer. He broke the hug quickly.

"Come with me," he said.

"Wh- where?" I asked.

"My... friends house. You're gonna get caught out here eventually. The place my... friend lives in doesn't allow normal humans to enter."

I was a normal human, wasn't I?

"Normal humans?" I asked. "Aren't I a normal human?"

He smirked. "Not the slightest."

"Okay," I paused, "I'll go with you."

I gathered my things and and put them in my bag. He dragged me farther into the woods. Man, he was fast. I had to use all my energy just to keep up with him.

*** Time skip ***

"We're here," Jeff spoke.

I looked around and saw nothing but the woods and a well.

"What?"

He walked towards the well and looked down it.

"Here? You live in a well?" I asked stupidly.

He just laughed. "Ladies first."

"You don't expect me to jump down there, do you?!" He grabbed my hand. "Hold on tight," he jumped into the well, pulling me with him.
