I eventually calmed down and Slendy let go of me. He allowed me to stay at their house for as long as I needed and had Jeff show me where my room was. Jeff lead me up the stairs and through a hall. We got to the end of the hall and turned a corner. He then stopped in front of me, causing me to bump into him. He turned his head and smirked at me. I only glared back at him.
"Here ya go, babe."
"I told you not to call me that."
"I can call you whatever I want."
"Says who?"
"Me."
"I say no."
"I say yes."
We were interrupted by a door nearby opening. It was Ben. He must've recovered from his faceplant earlier and headed upstairs.
"Could you keep it down, I'm trying to get my beauty sleep." He looked me up and down, "She sleepin in my room?" he asked with a pervy expression on his face. "No. She's not," Jeff replied sternly. Ben shrugged and slouched back into his room. "Well, I tried," I heard him moan before closing his door.
"Well, I'm off to bed," Jeff said. "You need anything, I'm two doors down from Ben." I nodded. Jeff began heading down the hall and I opened my door. It was a pretty plain room. The walls were white and the black paint on the furniture was chipping. I had a feeling nobody had been in this room for a long time. I sat on my bed and sighed. The clock read 10:00 P.M.
I layed down and crawled under the covers. It was surprisingly comfortable. I just lay there and watched the clock as the minutes went by. 10:01, 10:02, 10:03... As tired as I was, I couldn't fall asleep. These last couple of days have been hectic, especially today. One second I'm out freezing in the woods, and the next, I'm sleeping in a house of strangers. Although Slendy seems to know who I am. I feel mutual. I don't know why or how but somehow I feel like I know him.
** Short time skip **
Dear imaginary diary, It's 2 in the morning. I'm really bored and really tired but I can't sleep. Don't I sound like a typical teenager?
I decided to get my ipod out and listen to some music. I put it on shuffle and my favorite song came on. I sang it softly to myself. Music was my passion. My dad used to play the guitar and sing when I was younger. I guess it kind of rubbed off on me. With everything that was going on at home, music was my one and only resort. I would sit at the park after school and write songs. I always dreamed of being the lead singer for a famous rock band.
I giggled at the thought. If it was ever a possibility, it's not anymore. Not after all this mess.
After some time I finally dozed off while humming to the song Nobody's Home by Avril Lavigne.
What's wrong, what's wrong now?
Too many, too many problems.
Don't know where she belongs...
Where she belongs.
She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
It's where she lies, broken inside...
