As the school bell rung, swinging from side to side, Lily quickly ran into Fox-Wood High School, she was late again! Her locker, as always, was surrounded by people, mostly boys, ugh! They were slipping letters into her locker. "As always" she muttered.
One girl, just below Lily's height, was squished in the storm of the people. Her eyes narrowed towards Lily and she mouthed something like, "you're dead to me Lil." Lily rolled her eyes, though she giggled a bit at her friend's anger. She pushed past the storm of people and they stepped out of the way, like a red carpet for a movie. The girl was no longer squashed by people, although her cheeks were red; full of anger.
"LILY!" she yelled, "HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO ME?" Her bubble of shyness evaporated as she yelled in anger and shooed away the remaining people. They were angry too, but they didn't dare step in front of her, she definitely was the toughest at school. Lily giggled once more before turning to the short girl. "Nat", she said calmly, "lay off, they were doing nice things for me". "IT'S LIKE THAT EVERYDAY" Lily nodded, then gave her most innocent smile. "Puppy eyes eh?" Natalie smirked as she lowered one brow and raised the other. The school bell was rung, the first period had begun.
