ALISSAS POV
Today I got to school with a smile on my face and Ethan right next to me. That was until Hayes came and slapped my butt twice.. again. I kept walking but noticed that Ethan wasn't next to me.
I heard chanting behind me and it was a bad idea to turn around. There was a fight, I walked closer.
"Ethan?" omg it's Ethan. I rushed into the circle and tried to pick Ethan up but he pushed me away. One book and my handbag were all in one hand and my other was empty. I saw Grayson was on the other side and we both made eye contact and I knew exactly what to do. He gave me a signal and we both went in for Ethan.
Grayson helped me a lot with picking Ethan up and we took him outside. We put him into the brick wall and I stood in front of him.
"What the hell, what were you think Eth?" I questioned him but he ignored me. "Ethan I'm talking to you".
"Look he slapped your ass, twice might I add. I was being the overprotective friend that I always am! Or wait no one can slap your ass, that's my job to do!" woah did he just friend zone me? And say I was his property. I knew he didn't feel anything in the kiss. I thought and thought then I finally spoke.
"Find someone else to go to homecoming with!" I started to scream as I walked away and hopefully out of his vision. I put my back up against a wall and slid down with tears burning down my cheeks and off my face. Why? Why was he doing that? I'm not his property!
GRAYSONS POV
Ali ran away and left Ethan there confused, I was way more confused though.
"Dude that wasn't a cool thing to say" I started to say but then Ethan broke down in tears.
"I messed up, I.. i can't do it. I love her so much but I can't do it. I'm screwed Gray, everything I do gets screwed up!" he started to say but then stopped and fell to the ground. I think everyone was in class by now but I wasn't sure.
After about ten minutes of listening to Ethan sob and sob, a lady came out. I'm pretty sure she was from the office.
"Ethan, please come with me to the principal's office" the lady instructed. Ethan got up and wiped away the tears and began walking with her, and I went to find Ali and talk to her. Maybe reconsider.
ETHANS POV
The lady and I were walking towards Mrs. Carter's office. I really hope I'm not in trouble. Thoughts keep racing through my mind. Bad ones obviously. I screwed it up with Alissa, I had one shot and I blew it.
"The principal will see you in her office now please, Ethan!" the lady said to me. I walked toward the office door and knocked.
I heard the giant sound of a 'come in' so I opened the door and walked in.
"Mr. Dolan you are not one to fight" oh here we go. "You will be punished for this, I'm sorry. No homecoming dance and detention for 1 weeks. Thank you, you can go now" I got out of the seat and walked to the door. I walked outside to find Grayson sitting with.. Ali. I decided to not walk over but to text Grayson.
Me - Going to walk home, no hc for me and detention for 1 week, starting tomorrow. See you at him bud
I waited a few minutes until I got a reply back from Grayson.
Gray 😘 - ok bud see you there. Alissa is holding up, I hope you are too
I locked my phone and started walking home then my speed sped up and I was now running. Once I got home I practically knocked the door down and ran up to my room to see Ali sitting there.
"Alissa?" she didn't answer me at all she just looked into space. I said it again she still didn't answer. Then I said it again. This was getting scary and then she spoke.
"You did the wrong thing" she kept repeating that and it got in my head.
"I'm dreaming, ok so wake up. Wake up Ethan" I grabbed the sides of my face and was dribbling backwards. I think I was having a panic attack and then I closed my eyes and they never opened again

I woke up with a jolt with Grayson and Lindsay mucking around beside me. Then my head started pounding.
"Woah, what happened?" I said rubbing the back of my head, they both looked back at me and then Grayson started to speak.
"You were on the ground asleep bro, so Lindsay and I carried to your bed" he said starting to tickle Lindsay, I put my head on my pillow and was just resting.
"Also, Alissa is pissed" added Lindsay.
"Lindsay, shush" Grayson said.
"Bud, it's fine. I can only imagine Ali right now. It's all my fault". I laid back down. "Is she going with someone else?" I questioned and no one answered. "Guys?"
"Bro she is, she's going with the Hayes dude" Hayes? oh shit.
"I'm gonna find a way to get into that homecoming dance!" I said sitting up and walking out of the room. I thought and thought of ideas to get in but I couldn't so I'm ju.. I got it.
"I'm gonna sorta break in" I said walking back into the room and getting a big grin of Grayson but a small one of Lindsay.
