Finally getting out of there

Hey! I'm back, again. My friend Taylah said I should make these longer, so I'm going to try. She finally got an account and she doesn't know how to follow me because she is retarted. But anyway I'm going to go on with the story.

I hold my knife tighter as I hear running coming my way. The people are about to turn the corner and I throw my knife at the wall. Three figures stop in their tracks as my knife hits the wall.

"What the hell Dani?!", Mia yells.

"Oh my god....", Taylah trails off as she stares at the corpse standing behind me.

"What happened Dani?" Maddie speaks up, her voice trembling slightly as her eyes gaze over the body.

"Oh....uh, that?" I ask her pointing at the body, she nods slightly "uhh.. It attacked me so I shot it?" I practically asked, not sure if it was the right answer, walking over to the wall and taking it out.

"What?!" Taylah screams. " you shoot something and just say it so carefree?! We heard gunfire and it scared us to death!"

I'm taken back at her response. I was so caught up beating it to death I didn't think of how they would react.

"I'm sorry..." I couldn't think of anything else to say. I pull them all in for a hug.

"Just don't do it again" Mia whispers.

"I won't, I promise" I reply " we better get going, if there is one there is sure to be more"

I check I've still got my batteries in my bag, good I have them. It's still around 1:00 so we can see clearly, but when night comes, we obviously won't be able to see so I got torches. We walk down the hallway and come to another corner. I peek around it and nothing is there.

** time skip to the exit door of the building **

"Hurry up" I look back at the three girls

"Sorry Dani but you walk way too fast, and it didn't help that you got us lost" Maddie says slightly out of breath.
"Hey! That wasn't my fault, it was Mia's I was following her!" I say back.

"We were all behind you!" They all shout

"Only because you were scared..." I mumble under my breath "anyway come on, we've gotta keep moving, go out into the bush and find a cave or something."

I push the door open, not paying attention to the 'pull' sign on it. I heard one of them slap their face and sigh.

"What was the point of the pull sign when you can push it as well?" I say

"Really Dani?" Maddie replies to my stupid comment. I just shrug it off and keep walking, still keeping my guard up. I'm starting to loosen up and not be as serious as before, as long as I'm not near one of those 'things' I don't have to be.

The hotel we were staying in was way outside the city near mountains, fields and forests, just the environment we needed to survive the zombie outbreak

Sorry it was short, crap and took so long to do.i know it's a really crappy chapter but you will have to deal with it because I had a major brain fart and this is what happens.
