Jewel laughed and cried. This is the first time the whole vacation she's been happy.
"Well ima leave you to it."
Jewel walked out of the bathroom as quiet as possible and went to the bar downstairs. Lately, she's been drinking away her problems.
"Whiskey."
The barman nodded and reached for a glass. Jewel heard giggling from the lobby. It was Olive and Rin. Getting a separate hotel room.
"Oh god. Can't keep it decent for one damn night?"
Apparently the barman heard because he answered.
"What was that?"
"Oh um nothing. Just my sister and her boyfriend being dumb and shit."
"Well what are you doing here all alone?"
"Just a 3am drink like a regular person."
"Haha well a cute girl like you shouldn't be drinking alone"
"Oh um sorry man I'm taken."
"No one has to know."
The barman pulled Jewel into a kiss. Jewel pushed him away violently and slapped him.
"WHAT THE FUCK DUDE IM MARRIED!"
"And I said I don't care."
The barman groped Jewel in bad places and she was done. She waved her hand and the barman was thrown to a wall. As wine shattered the barman screamed.
"WHAT THE FUCK YOU PARANORMAL BITCH"
Jewel laughed.
"Thanks. I try."
The man ran away basically crying. Jewel banged her head against the table. Her chair was then turned around and she was pulled into a kiss. This kiss felt right. When Jewel opened her eyes it was Nathaniel. Jewel smiled.
"For a second I thought you were going to cheat on me."
"You know I would never do that."
They both smiled and kissed again.
"Thanks for being strong for me Nath."
"Me? Strong? You just almost killed a guy for trying to hook up with you!"
"Yeah I guess that was pretty cool."
They both laughed and went upstairs. As soon as they reached their room Nathaniel spoke.
"Wait.... No."
He closed the door.
"Ugh Nath? What are you doing?"
"Pack your stuff."
"WHAT?"
"Kaycey can use our bed."
"Nath you're not making sense."
"I'll be back with a new room key. Write a note."
Nathaniel winked as Jewel was surprised at Naths' smooth moves.
"Sliding into DMS in real life. Damn."
