You had started working at the BAU a couple of weeks ago. The team still wasn't as close to you as everyone else, especially JJ. She was kinda reserved and decided not to open up to you. All of you decided to go out for drinks one night and you were talking and laughing with Reid when you looked over and saw some guy talking to JJ. You noticed he kept putting his hands on her and she looked really uncomfortable. Reid saw you staring and looked at JJ as well.
"Do you think she needs help?" He asked.
"I think so. I got this." You told him before getting up.
You walked over to JJ and wrapped your arms around her waist.
"Hey babe. We're starting to miss you over at our table." You told her.
She turned to look at you and smiled at you.
"Sorry I was just talking to this guy." She told you before kissing your cheek.
"So the two of you are together? Why didn't you mention her earlier?" The guy asked JJ.
"Because it wasn't relevant." She stated, as she shrugged and wrapped an arm around you.
"I don't believe the two of you are really together." He said.
JJ tightened her grip on you and pulled you closer. She looked up at you and her eyes flicked to your lips. You leaned down and captured her lips in a soft kiss. She moved her other hand to rest on your hip as you placed one hand on her cheek and tangled the other hand in her hair. You heard the guy get up and move away, but you and JJ still didn't stop kissing. Eventually she pulled away, breathing heavily.
"Hey JJ?" You asked.
"Hmm?" She murmured, brushing her lips against yours.
"You wanna go grab a coffee sometime?" You inquired.
She nodded a little before pulling you close again.
