Your relationship with Emily Prentiss was not exactly easy. It was obviously stressful with her leaving a lot, but you managed. She was currently home though and when she was here, everything seemed easy. Your eyes slowly opened, and you felt her head on your chest. You looked down to find her already staring at you.
"Good morning, Princess." You said, using the nickname she hated and you loved. It sounded so much like 'Prentiss' it was your favorite thing to call her. This morning, she didn't groan when you called her princess, instead her cheeks turned red.
"Good morning babe." She smiled.
"I thought you hated that nickname." You replied.
"I'm warming up to it." She chuckled.
"I'm really glad you're here. Waking up next to you is my favorite thing." You ran your hand through her hair.
"You, are my favorite thing." She replied, grinning.
You rolled your eyes at her before leaning down slightly to connect your lips. She informed you that she had the day off, so you stayed in bed with her the whole day, enjoying being with her.
