I'd Love To (JJ)

You were out having lunch with your friends when you noticed your phone was ringing. You looked at the Caller ID and saw JJ's name so you immediately answered.

"Hey you." You said.

"Hey darling. How's lunch with your friends?" She asked.

"It's going good. I'm surprised that you remembered." You told her.

"I remember everything that you tell me." She replied.

"Are you on a break right now?" You inquired.

"I am." She replied.

"So why aren't you eating?" You scolded her.

"I wanted to talk to you." She responded, and you could hear the smile in her voice. 

"I love you." You gushed, grinning.

"I love you too. Hey, Rossi invited us all over for dinner tonight and I was wondering if you would want to come? Meet the team?" She asked.

"I'd love to." You told her, honestly.

"I'll pick you up around six?" She offered.

"Sounds good. Now, go get something to eat. I love you." You said.

"I love you too, dear." She replied before hanging up.

Your friends made fake gagging noises and you rolled your eyes. Suddenly, you felt nervous about meeting her team. They were like her family and if they didn't approve of you the relationship was bound to fail. 

*Six o'clock*

You heard a knock on the door and went to open it. It revealed JJ standing in a black dress that reached her mid-thigh. You pecked her lips and smiled. 

"You look beautiful." You told her.

She smiled and looked at your outfit. You wore denim jeans, a white v-neck shirt, a black blazer, and a pair of black Vans. 

"You look amazing." She gushed, as you took her hand in yours. 

You offered to drive and she complied. The ride was quiet, with your hand resting on her thigh. You weren't sexual about it though, it was just a sign of affection for the woman to your right. She told you how to get to Rossi's house and you pulled up, seeing several other cars.

"JJ, I'm nervous." You admitted.

"Don't be. They'll love you." She assured you, sliding hr hand in yours.

The two of you walked to the door and she softly knocked. A woman with blonde hair opened the door.

"Hey JJ. And you must be Y/N! It's so great to finally meet you. I'm Penelope Garcia." She said, pulling you into a hug.

You chuckled at her enthusiasm and told her it was great to meet her too. Then you and JJ followed her into the kitchen.

"Everyone, JJ finally brought her girl to meet us." Penelope announced.

"Okay, okay. That's Rossi, this is Hotch, that's Morgan, she's Prentiss, and that is Reid." JJ introduced you to each person in the room.

You were extremely nervous but you did well. Reid seemed impressed with your intelligent, Garcia thought your knowledge about computers was astounding. Rossi thought your appreciation for good food was lovely. Morgan was impressed with your flirting skills and your extensive sports knowledge. You managed to make Hotch laugh several times. And Prentiss thought you were amazing because you were so interested in other countries and languages. But before you left they all gave you the same look. 

"If you ever hurt JJ, you're gonna have hell to pay." Morgan spoke for them and they all nodded their heads.

"I couldn't dream of it." You said, admiring JJ.

As the two of you went back to her car she turned to you.

"They all loved you." She smiled.

"Good. I was hoping they would." You breathed out.

"I love you more than they do though." She told you, as you pulled into your driveway.

"Do you?" You asked her as you two made your way into the house.

"Definitely." She giggled, pulling you against her as her back pressed to the door.

"I love you too." You mumbled before pressing your lips to hers.
