Lucy's POV

Han steered the ship to land just outside Capital City.  Together, the five of us descended down the ship's ramp.  As soon as we made it to the bottom, Han asked what our next move was.

I simply started typing on my wrist pad, deploying two droids.  "Go to the old temple and the tower and meet us at Jho's," I ordered the droids.

Han and Chewbacca, not yet having seen the droids yet, gaped in wonder at the technology, Leia, meanwhile, just sighing, having seen them before.

"You still have those things?" Leia questioned.

"Yes.  I have modified them over the years to do much more, however," I explained.

"C-3PO would love those," Han commented.

"Who?" I asked.

"No one," Han replied.

I simply shook my head, not wanting to push the matter anymore. "Follow me," I said.

"Where to?" Luke questioned.

"You will see," I said simply.

I led the group through the streets, venders yelling out for others to buy their products, begging children, parents scolding young ones.

"So," I said, in an attempt to start off conversation. "How exactly did you all join the Rebellion?  Blondie over here told me it was because of a droid, but that does not account for the other two."

"A guilty conscience," Han replied.

"Argh!" Chewbacca replied.

"You said it, Chewy," Han mumbled.

"It seems everyone is guilty these days, isn't it?" I asked.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Luke asked.

"Everyone feels they are responsible for everything, must make everything right, must fix everything.  I learned a long time ago that it never works," I explained.

"That does not mean you can't try," Luke retorted.

"But it also means you will not succeed, and I don't know about you, but when I start something I want it finished."

We stayed silent for the rest of the short journey.  I led the rebels to a bar by the marketplace.

"What is this place?" Han asked.

"A rebel hotspot," Leia replied.  "Why are we here?"

"Jho knows all.  And I have questions," I said simply.

I internally sighed.  It was true, I did have questions.  But not about this mission or my past love, but an old friend.  Ever since I had heard of Kanan's death and the disbandment of the crew, I had worried for Sabine.  Sabine had been one of my first true friends, following Ezra.  I had come to think of the Mandalorian as somewhat of a family member, ever since she helped me escape the Rebellion by providing a ship.

Plus, even if Luke and the others questioned me about the Mandalorian, I could always say I was bringing her to help. She had spent enough time with Ezra to know a thing or two, and she could always help with Luke's target practice.

I entered the bar, everyone close behind.  Thankfully, it was not too busy, only a couple of men in the corner.  But, I ignored them, walking straight to the bar.  I looked around, to see no Jho.  I knocked my hand on the wooden bar a couple of times before a head popped out of a door leading to a storage room.

At first, Jho looked confused, but then he saw who it was, and instantly disappeared back behind the door, only to return with a bottle.  He passed me the drink I ordered so often when I was here he had memorized it.

"What brings you back to Lothal, Lucy?" Jho asked in his gravely voice.

"How come he gets to call you Lucy and we have to call you Lucille?" Han bursted out.

"Because," I simply said to Han before turning back to face Jho.  "I was wondering if you had anymore information about the Mando."

Jho scrunched his eyes in question to me, asking with his face if I was asking about who he was thinking of.  I nodded, him returning the gesture.

"Now we are involving Mandos?" Leia asked.

"Not just any Mando," I replied, giving Leia a look.

"Oh, that Mando," Leia said, it dawning on her.  The boys asked in confusion of who we were talking about, but both of us keeping our mouths shut.

"I do not have anything on the Mando, but I can get some," Jho said.

"Wonderful," I said just as a beep went off on my wrist pad.  I looked to the piece of technology to see the droid I had sent to the temple had found something, no doubt Ezra.  I smiled, reaching into my pocket to hand a few coins to Jho before saying, "We are off.  One of my droids found Ezra.  He is at the temple, just where I thought he would be."

"Argh!" Chewbacca exclaimed, excited to leave and do something exciting.

I chuckled as we walked out together.

Ezra's POV

I was meditating just outside the temple when I felt something behind me.  I opened my eyes, looking back to see none other than one of Lucy's droids.

"Unbelievable," I muttered, walking over to the droid.

It beeped a few times to me, broadcasting a signal, no doubt back to Lucy.

"Well, all's I have to do now is wait," I sighed.
