Luke's POV

Nobody had any idea where Ezra had gone, or if he would ever be coming back.

"I know he will come back.  Ezra is a Jedi.  Jedi like to disappear sometimes to teach lessons.  So, I suggest you find your lesson and learn it," Lucille said.

"If this has to do with me being impatient because of a galaxy to organize-" Leia started.

"Then forget your troubles and relax!" Lucille snapped.  She closed her eyes and continued to kneel on the ground.  I looked to Leia and gave her an apologetic look before joining Lucille on the floor.  I kneeled, closed my eyes, and slowly breathed in.

After a few moments, a large grinding sound filled the cave.  I opened my eyes to see the frozen door opening up before me.  I looked around to see everyone else staring at the door, too.  There  was another few moments of silence until Han spoke up.  "Now what?"

"Luke goes in," Lucille replied.

I stood up from the cold ground.  I walked forward to the door.  Before entering, I looked at the rest of my crew before turning back around to disappear into the tunnel.

<~>

I had been walking for an hour in the dark, chilly cave.  I had so far found nothing.  I had tried to remember Yoda's and Obi-Wan's teachings as I walked.  They were both different men, but Ezra was a very different teacher.  I had never dealt with someone so young and developed in the Force.   I didn't even know about him when we fought my father!

And even then, the stories of my father told me he was a very emotional Jedi who never quite followed the rules.  I somehow guessed Ezra was very aware of his emotions and acted upon them without any confusion.  My father acted rashly, resulting in the death of my mother.

I continued walking, trying to remember all of the Jedi teachings of my past.  But, as Yoda so loved to say, do or do not, there is no try.

Finally, I hit a dead end in the tunnel.  I placed my hand on the smooth ice, slowing my breathing.  Ezra came in here making a big deal about being patient, which was not one of my virtues.  But, I still had to try to receive answers on how to rebuild the galaxy.

So, even if I hated it, I had to calm down.

I sank to the floor, closing my eyes as I had in the main cave by Lucille.  I let my senses take in my surroundings.  The chill coming off of the walls, the cracks and crevices in the ice.

After what seemed like a few seconds, I felt a firm hand on my shoulder.  My eyes shot open, my body completely swerving to face this newcomer.  But, as soon as I saw his face, I froze.

Standing in front of me was Anakin Skywalker, my father.

We stayed like this, staring, for a couple of minutes until my father spoke.  "Well, are you just going to stand there?"

"Father?" I asked, not completely sure if this was truly happening.

"Alive and in flesh.  Well, more rather dead," he replied with a childish smile.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"You came to this temple for answers.  I am here to help provide those," Father explained.

"Father, I don't know what the Force wants me to do," I sighed.

"It is not what the Force wants you to do more so what you think is best to honor the Force."

"Jedi, being as crypt as ever."

"At least I came to help.  I led you here, after all," Father scoffed.

I looked up with a confused look.  "Led me?  But Ezra and Lucille brought me here."

"Who do you think talked Ezra into helping you?"

"You told Ezra to bring me here?"

"Yes, because you are young and have no clue how to run an entire galaxy," Father said.

"Leia has been a princess her whole life.  The politics part was going to be her job," I said.

"As a Jedi, you must be well versed in every part of your galaxy."

"But that still doesn't tell me how to start a Jedi Order!  I was born right at the end of the last one!  And I have only been training for a year," I said.

"And how do you think the first Jedi started?"

Yeah, yeah, I am leaving off at an awkward spot, and this chapter kind of sucked, but I haven't updated any of my Star Wars books in over two months so I felt like I should put something out there.

Okay, now for announcements.

1. I am in high school, and we are getting out of school soon.  But, I have a super busy schedule this summer.  In June, I am going to Washington D.C. for National History Day.  (Say something if you will be there!)  That means I will have a lot to do to prep and pack and write and research and too much stuff.  I legit live in Nebraska, the middle of the country.  I got some work to do.

2. I have an FFA SAE to work on this summer, which is chickens.  So, I will be spending a lot of time doing finances and caring for chickens.  Those are going to take some time.

3. I am on flag team and will be doing a lot with the team this year, such as practices and A LOT of fundraising.

4. I am taking a few workshops at UNO this summer for Techcademy, which is a computer camp in Omaha and I get to go for free because I was specially selected to go to this earlier camp, blah, blah, blah.

5. I am on speech team in high school and my partner and I are doing Aladdin next year as our speech and are already starting to prepare for our speech.  Partly because last year our speech coach wanted a duet to fill a spot for RPAC so I went through four partners until I found my glorious partner. Well, we performed at RPAC, and then she had our duet perform at districts, which we were ONE PLACE FROM FINALING AT AND GOING TO STATE! Oh, and we also redid our speech the night before. ;)  Anyway, all of our judges wanted to see us again next year, so since he is a guy and I am a girl I came up with the idea of Aladdin for a duet, which our coach is super excited about.  And since we live in Nebraska, we started practicing earlier.  (Note: In case you are unaware, Nebraska is actually proven to be the most competitive state in the speech world with the highest quality performances.)

6. I have one week of band camp, which I will play trombone at.

Aren't you guys glad this is only my schedule for June?

So, in conclusion, I am a little busy, and might not have a bunch of time to update, so please be patient on my updates for my Star Wars books.
