-Your Point of View-
"Whoa...Haley...check it out!" The theatre before us was absolutely stunning. "Yeah, I see!" She squeaked. I couldn't believe I actually get to see Hunter in concert today. Sadly, we weren't meeting him. But our seats were still great. "Come Haley let's go!" I took her arm and dragged her inside. We showed our tickets to the guard and went inside. They gave us strange looks for being so early. We walked down the isle way to our seats. First row baby!!
"Breath taking..." I announced, looking around.
"It really is." Haley and I whipped around to see Sam, standing up on the stage. Our eyes locked on him with our mouth hanging up, he laughed. "You guys are quite early?" He said questioning us.
I finally found my voice and said, more confident then I felt, "We just wanted to get the full experience. "No shame in that." He stopped talking and begin walking around stage, taping each mic making sure they were on.
"Before you even ask, Hunter is at the Coffee House right now."
"Oh.." I mumbled embarrassed. That was my next question. Again Sam, laughed. "I'm just teasing you guys." I laughed, relaxing a little bit. We watched as he made his way up the stage to the center mic. He flashed us a questioning look before asking, "You sing?"
I was flabbergasted. "You're kidding?"
"No... What's the harm? You guys are two hours early."
I looked at Haley who looked like a deer in headlights. Shrugging, I climbed onto the stage. I strolled over to Sam. I looked out into the seats. The sight just took my breath away.
"It must be pretty amazing preforming at theaters like this." I looked admiringly at him.
"Yeah, it sure don't get old." He walked over the the guitar rack plucking one off. He began playing a view cords. "How about I sing Hunter's part to Everybody Got Somebody But Me, and you sing Jason's?"
I smiled, "Yeah, sweet."
We sang out to our imaginary crowd, and Haley. At the very finish, I heard clapping, but it wasn't Haley.
"Am I getting replaced?" My eyes shot to Hunter, who was standing off stage.
"Awe no!" I laughed. "You can't be replaced." He smiled the cute smile.
"What's your name?" He asked. "I'm Jamie, it's a pleasure to meet you." "Same to you Hunter, I'm a big fan." "Awe sweet!"
"Hunter!" A voice yelled from backstage. "Come here, now!" Without hesitation Hunter ran off stage.
I gave a questioning look to Haley and Sam. Minuets later Hunter came back out, his hands rubbing his face.
"Ashley's sick. She can't preform."
"You're kidding." Sam gasped.
"No joke man." Hunter paced.
Slowly his eyes met mine.
"Jamie... Do you think..."
He didn't have to finish his sentence.
"I'll do it. I know Ashley's songs inside and out."
Hunter smiled, relief flooding him.
"Sam, could you play Ashley's guitar parts?" Hunter asked.
"Without question."
"Thank you so much!" Hunter gave me a hug thanking me again and again.
"No problem." I smiled back to him.
It wasn't how I planned this night to go, but I'm not complaining.
