-Your Point of View-

"Gabby....you might want to come see this..." I set my coffee mug down counter and made my way to Hunter. Looking out the window I saw feet upon feet of snow piling up on the ground. "We aren't going to be able to make it..." Hunter said glumly, referring to my parents Christmas party. "I'll go call her." I said sadly.

My Mom was sad we couldn't make it, but she understood. "What are we going to do now?" I asked Hunt. "Well we can't really go anywhere...so we just get to hang out here!" He smiled. "I'm fine with that!" I laughed.

"Hey!" He yelled suddenly having an idea. Let's decorate our Christmas tree! "Ohh that sounds like fun!" I brightened at the idea. "Hold on, let me go get the ornaments out of the basement!" He took off down the stairs.

I sat down on the couch waiting for him to come back upstairs. I curled into a blanket and watched the fire we had made in the fireplace glow. Box by box hunter hulled all the ornaments upstairs.

"Thanks for the help Gab" He huffed after placing the last box by the side of the tree. "Anytime." I said kissing his cheek and opening the lid of the box with the star. I heard him laugh and shake his head out of the corner of my eye.

"You're so lucky I love you." I said to me smiling. "Yeah, I guess I am." I gave him the star to out in top of the tree. One by one we decorated the tree. I kept having to fix the ornaments hunter out in the tree because he kept putting them side by side.

"It's looking good!" I said proudly looking at the almost completed tree. "I'm quite proud of my work!" Hunter stated. "YOUR work?" I playfully shoved him while laughing. "Ya right!!"

We opened up one more box and continued decorating our shinning tree. It really did look pretty. The number of ornaments in the box slowly decreased until there was only a few left. Finally, there was one last ornament left.

"May I do the honors?" Hunter asked. I had though he meant putting the last ornament on. "Go ahead!" I said happily. Hunter opened the ornament in half, a ring in between the two halves.

"Gabby, will you marry me?"

I gasped. My hands flying to my face. The ring was stunning, "Yes...yes yes!!" I jumped into his arms as he gave me a hug. "Thank you so much Gabby. I love you." He whispered. "I love you, too."
