-Your Point of View *night time*-
I sat on the rocking chair in my porch rocking slowly back and forth. I sat wrapping my arms around legs. I was waiting for Hunter to come pick me. He claimed he was going to take me on another "surprise" date. I was a little worried. The last time he claimed to do this he ended up getting us stuck in his pickup,..in a river. I laughed at the memory of this.
"Whatcha laughing at?" I jumped at his voice. "Oh sorry," I sat up. "I didn't hear you pull up."
"Really!?" He exclaimed, motioning back to his old, loud, ford pickup. "Forget it." I smiled, "I can't wait to see this surprise date."
I jumped of the porch and ran up to his truck hopping into the passenger side. He chased after me laughing. "I can tell you're excited!"
"Very now let's get going!" He chuckled and started the engine. We drove down the long dirt road. The starts shined brightly from above. I love times like this. Away from the fame. Away from the crowd. Moments like this only made me love him more. My cheeks turned red thinking of this.
"You look so cute when you blush, Lane." I burst out laughing. "Sheessh Hayes you sure don't miss a thing!!" He just winked at me and continued driving. I looked out the window and watched the world passed by. I felt his fingers curl around my hand. He flashed him a grin and played with his fingers.
All the sudden we took a sharp U- turn into a field. "HUNT!" The truck bumped along the dirt. "What are you doing?!" "You'll see Lane... You'll see." He stopped the truck abruptly. "Stay in here." He spoke over his shoulder. He hopped out of the truck and ran around behind. I refrained from looking over my shoulder not wanting to ruin the surprise.
"Ok!" Hunter called opening my side door. "Come on." I could tell from the way he was smiling he was excited. He brought me around to the side of the truck and opened the tailgate. He didn't need to say a word. Inside the truck bed was pillows and blankets stacked high.
"Care to stargaze?"
"Oh my gosh Hunter!! This is perfect!" I jumped into the mountains of pillows. He followed after me. I snuggled into his chest and pulled to blankets over us to escape the cold air. We started into the night sky. Away from the city you could see the stars clearly. "Thank you so much for this Hunter. It's amazing."
He kissed my head, "Anything for you, Lane." I laid my head on his chest. I listened to his heartbeat. I can't believe he was actually mine. I wrapped my arms around him. "I love you H, always remember that." I heard his heart beat faster. "I love you to Lane."
