'Hey you kay?' Vanessa said to Chris but Chris frowns while shaking his head. 'Here is a blanket and a soft pillow.' Veronica gives to Crawford. 'Look me and Veronica are really sorry that your dad left you but he ask me and Roni to take care of you guys and we plan on to do it.' Vanessa said. Chris sighs. 'Its just ..... we can't believe our parents left us.' 'Crawford, I'm here for you.' Veronica rubs his back. 'Were all here for each other. You guys can sleep in the guest rooms.' 'Sure, Nessa.' 'Well its almost dawn. So better sleep now.' Crawford says.

Veronica's POV

I feel awful. That Crawford and Chris' dad left them. I also feel bad for their dad. He did that for me and Nessa? Or maybe for Crawford and Chris. I just want them to be happy. I like Crawford. I'm not sure if he feels the same way. Anyways, the next morning, we were getting ready for school. 'You guys ready?' I yelled. 'Good morning!' I said to Chris when he enters the kitchen. 'Morning. Wheres Nes?' 'She said she didn't feel well.' 'Oh okay. Maybe I should just stay and take care of her.' 'Yeah sure. Um theres medicines in that cabinet.' 'Yeah. Thanks.' I say and left with Crawford.

Crawford's POV

I was really close to my dad till he lost his job. I think I'm the only one who knows. Thats how close we are. But he left so that we can stay. I really like Veronica. But I don't know if she likes me? 'Hey so um . How are you?' 'I should ask you the same question.' 'I am fine. Its you I'm worried about.' 'I'm fine.' She lightens her voice.' 'I haven't said sorry about your parents. I'm sorry for your loss.' ................. . 'Thank you.' She said a couple seconds later. We arrived and everybody stared at Veronica. 'Why are they staring at you?' 'Didn't go to school for a month and didn't film for weeks and my parents died.' 'Oh! I'm sorry.' 'Don't be. Lets just start over. No parents. No .... . She didn't know what to say then. 'No worrying.' I finish her sentence. She chuckles lightly. She puts her hair behind her ear with both of her hands then neck. She sighs. I hold both of her hands and said; Hey everything is gonna be alright. Okay? She nodded. We wanted to walk through the hallway but everyone kept staring at her. So I hold her hand. We both went to class our classes. I saw her at her locker with friends, looks like she is fine. She saw me and smiled. I smiled back.

Veronica's POV

Crawford was so nice. He calmed me down and hold my hand when we walked to the hallway because people were staring at me so I was nervous. He is such a gentlemen. Just like Brent. I guess I'm over Brent. He cheated on me and my heart is broken by him. Gabriel? We are great friends now. He got engaged with an australian vlogger. She is really nice and beautiful. Then I was in history class. When it was over I went to my locker. *slams her locker* *gasp* 'Brent! What the hell?' 'Well hello to you too.' I glared at him. 'Can we talk?'
