Veronica's POV
He asked. 'Brent I am not wasting my time. Now excuse me.' He grabs my arm strongly. 'Do not touch me!' I yelled. 'Hey you got a problem?' Crawford comes in the fight. 'Whats your problem man!' 'Well it looks like Veronica is done speaking to you.' Brent glares at Crawford. 'Do you need duelling pistols or something?' I said to Brent. He rolls his eyes and left. 'Thanks.' 'Who was that?' 'My ex, Brent' 'He's a coward.' I smile. 'Yeah.' Then, I frown. 'Hey what's wrong?' 'Its just I still like him but for what he did to me and our memories. He was charming.' 'What did he do to you? May I ask?'We sat down on a bench. 'Yeah. Well he cheated on me with a youtuber.' 'Oh.' I gaze at him. His dark brown eyes. He stares in my eyes too. Our lips were one inch close. 'Roni!' Of course someone had to interrupt. Like its awkward already. Crawford and I just stare at each other trying to find an explanation. 'Alissa. I was just um giving Crawford notes.' 'Yeah thanks,anyways!' He kisses my cheek as we stood up. He took off. As he left I gasp. As well Alissa too. 'Roni! Crawford?!' 'What? We're just friends.' 'Yeah. Okay. So you wanna go to the mall after school?' 'Yeah. Sure. But before that. I have to check on Nessa.

Meanwhile with Vanessa and Christian,

'Chris?' Nessa says as Chris enters her room. 'Why aren't at scho- Achoo! Sorry.' 'Its fine. At least you closed your mouth.' Both chuckles. 'I made you chicken soup.' Chris Thanks. I didn't know you cook.' 'Well, I do.' Vanessa smiles. 'Well thank you.' They kiss. 'So hey. Your collage application? Hows it doing?' 'Um I rather focus on you.' 'Come on, Chris! You shut me down at Kansas. Not this time.' 'I never filled up.' 'Not till the the beginning?!' 'I'm sorry Nessa,' 'You lied to me?' 'I'm sorry.' 'Its okay. You still have to go through the court tomorrow.' 'Yeah.' 'Its okay I'll be there.' Vanessa & Chris smiles at each other.

Meanwhile....
I walk to my car when school ended and see a dark brown hair guy standing beside my car. Waiting for. Me. 'Veronica!' He says as he turns around and sees me. 'Crawford?' I say softly to myself. He smiles. I walk over to him. 'How was your day?' 'Pretty good.' I smile. He grabs my arm and holds them. 'So?' 'So?' We were inches and close and so close. 'Veronica! Veronica! Veronica!' 'What!' 'We're home.' 'What?' He gets out of the car.

It was all a dream?! Why?!? Ugh! Can I just have a real alone time with him?! I really like him. Maybe I just have to try next time.

At Vanessa's room,
'He almost kissed you?!' Veronica nodded. 'But?! What?! I thought you're not over .... you know,' 'Okay. Brent was a douchebag. Well still is.' Vanessa raises her eyebrows. 'Roni, do you really like him?' 'Yeah.' 'Because you don't want what happened to Gabriel.' 'Yeah. *yawn* Lets just go to bed.' 'If you say so.'
